I was saw Muppets 3D couple days before Halloween there were still lots of people in the theatre. I wish if they do redo it make like video games where each time may not be the exact same and with theming 4 July, Halloween, Christmas...

Agreed! When I was doing the Disney College Program in Summer of last year, that was the busiest I have ever seen MuppetVision out of the numerous times I have seen it since 2019. I think the Muppets are sort of seeing a "resurgence" right now, especially with the success of Muppet Mayhem. Which makes it kind of ironic that now is the time they are deciding to get rid of the show. That would be a great idea to have the show change throughout the year. It looks like from the concept art that the theater will still be there with a new Monsters Inc. show, so maybe they will do something like that!

People need to remember that an internship is work experience. The key word here is work. So if you want the party experience there are party colleges. That being said, Disney needs to monitor their program better and key people out.

Thank you for the comment Destiny! You are 100% correct. I get that the Disney college program has always had a bit of a reputation of being a place where "crazy" stuff goes on, but I have never in the past really considered that a primary factor for people deciding to do the program. People wanted to do the program because it was essentially the #1 internship in the country, if not the world, and people knew it was pretty much the best character building experience you could have. Not to mention the free theme park admission, haha. But unfortunately now it is definitely on a downward trend towards there being a large percentage of people doing the program with the prime objective of coming down to Orlando and partying all the time, which has lead to a massive decline in quality. These people are in for a rude awakening though when they realize they are going to be working 5 or 6 days a week, with shifts typically ending late at night around 10pm, 11pm, or even later in some cases.

Hi, I'm going to Disney in a month for the cultural exchange. I wondering if you had a way I could contact you because I have a million questions on what to expect 😅

I think if you look at fees in total program cost if you do May 2024 to Jan 2025 almost 8 months $200 parking on per month basis is not that bad because most colleges charge more with restrictions.
@TheTruthBehindTheMagic
@TheTruthBehindTheMagic 8 ай бұрын
Yeah it really isn't that bad. It definitely is on par with, if not cheaper than many college parking passes. I think I paid $85 for my parking pass when I did the program in 2022, but I understand why the price went up so much in less than two years with the whole supply and demand issue they were having with parking at Flamingo. I think the main point I would want anyone who is about to do the program to take away from this video when it comes to the topic of bringing a car, is not that you shouldn't bring a car simply because of the extra cost, but just to keep in mind that it does cost a bit more to bring/maintain a vehicle on the program rather than utilizing the busses. For example, if someone brings their car down for a six month program, it's pretty much a guarantee that they will spend at least $1,000 for the combination of the parking pass, the cost to travel down to Orlando with their vehicle, and the cost of gas throughout their program. Not to say that would necessarily be deal-breaking, but I think for anyone who is really worried about their finances while doing the program, or anyone who is debating whether or not to bring a vehicle, it is definitely something to consider. Having an extra $1,000 in your bank account when you finish your program could be quite nice!

Amazing. I agree with these rankings and explanations. I agree with Blaze list the most. I feel Magic Kingdom is the Disney park if you will.

I wouldn't disagree with that! Honestly Epcot and Magic Kingdom are pretty much interchangeable for number one on my list. I just tend to view Epcot as number 1 as a frequent visitor simply because the amount of stuff you can do without having to do much waiting, and the food! Magic Kingdom is definitely the quintessential Disney park though! And it has a feeling unlike anywhere else.

I mean you're honestly not wrong haha. I fully understand that some parts of the world don't have good plumbing, but encountering that kind of situation on the program is certainly not a fun experience. Not to mention it's also a major health hazard. Unfortunately with how housing is nowadays I doubt they would even do anything about it if someone complained to them about it happening in their apartment either.

hey man thank you so much for this video! did you have this role for a summer alumni program? i have my phone interview on friday and i’m wondering what they’ll ask me about the role since i plan on saying it’s one of my top choices

Thank you for the comment! Yes, I did Bell Services for the 2023 Summer Alumni Program. Unfortunately this was the very last program before they started doing the phone interview again so I don't have any first hand knowledge relating to bell services specifically when it comes to the phone interview that I can give you. Honestly though, from my experience with the phone interview before my program in 2019, and just knowing how the program operates in general, I wouldn't expect them to ask anything very specific/detailed relating to bell services. Bell services is just such an obscure role for the most part that the interviewers will most likely still gravitate towards asking questions regarding more widespread roles like attractions, quick service, etc. So I definitely wouldn't worry about knowing much detailed information about how bell services operates! I remember on my phone interview back in 2019 they asked me "if you're working on Pirates of the Caribbean and the attraction breaks down, what would you tell guests asking what the issue is?" But honestly, I really don't expect them to throw out any questions that are that deep when it comes to bell services. I would wager that they will stick to more generalized questions if they do begin to talk about your interest in bell services. Things like "are you comfortable lifting items weighing 40 pounds or more", "are you comfortable driving a large company vehicle for extended periods of time", "are you comfortable using a computer", that sort of thing. Even though those questions are essentially answered on the initial program application, they may still ask them again simply to determine quite literally if you're able to do bell services. My advice overall would be to focus more on showing a major interest in Resort Operations, especially front office/main lobby operations, instead of focusing on bell services specifically. I'm assuming you ranked front desk/concierge high as well on your role preferences as well (sorry if that's the wrong assumption!), but I believe showing a real affinity for hotel operations is really the best thing you can do if you're trying to persuade them a bit on role placement. And if they do ask "why bell services?" and you're not really sure what to say, I would just focus on telling them you really enjoy the resorts, and you want to be a part of making the guests who stay at the resorts have a magical experience. Sorry that this response was so long! And sorry that I couldn't really give you any first hand knowledge from my phone interview! I was fortunate enough to get bell services without a phone interview or even being able to rank my role preferences. But I hope this response helps you in some way! I'm sure you'll do fine in the phone interview! Definitely let me know if they do end up asking detailed questions about bell services because I will honestly be very surprised if they do!

@@TheTruthBehindTheMagic Thank you so much! This is super helpful information. Concierge actually was one of my highly ranked roles originally, but they’ve come out with a list of roles we’re not allowed to do for summer alumni this time around and that’s one of them, which is why I focused in on bell services. They’ve been asking people specific questions relating to what they say their top roles are, so I’ve prepared myself for the basic questions and some more specific ones-I’ll factor the ones you mentioned here into my preparation as well. And I’ll let you know if they throw any other bell services questions my way! Thanks again for all the information, it’s been a big help.
