When will the product be back in stock needing a screen for my club car tempo.

I miss when you did videos on the icon golf carts
@lakesidebuggies14 күн бұрын
Yeah I regret making those videos more than anything you can imagine. I was very naive at that time. As a very new dealer, I thought I was working with a quality company and product at Icon, unfortunately that could have been further from the truth. It took us 2 full years and hundreds of sold units before we uncovered the truth. They cost us hundreds of thousands of dollars in the end it was a hard lesson learned. Thankfully we used the knowledge to create our own line of carts and we've done fantastic with it thus far
@impmc2527 күн бұрын
Planning to order this exact cart in the spring. I saw a video from 6 months ago and you commented that epic was no longer stocking carts. Is that true? Are they done making them?
@lakesidebuggies14 күн бұрын
I believe they lost their distribution rights with the manufacturer of the older model due to low sales volumes. They told dealers they were out of stock for months before eventually just dumping junk on dealers to clear out their inv inentory. The new epic is essentially a knock off of the Vibe Flex (with added upgrades to outshine us) they released it exactly 4 months after I launched my video here on KZbin of the Flex. I'm sure the model that you're seeing in this video is no longer available anywhere, and I have recently seen a lot of customer complaints about electrical problems with the new epic model that just replaced it a few months ago on the epic owners Facebook group. While I had a pretty great experience with my E60L in the video it's important to point out that I also put a lithium battery in it with less than 20 miles on the odometer. Long story sort, if I were you I would keep shopping. There are better brands out there with better overall quality.
@twebb726Ай бұрын
Gen 2 Madjax sounds like it has not a great screen (delayed response) and needs upgraded heavy duty rear springs since the suspension doesn't not provide a great ride. Do you find this to be true compared to the Vibe? Also, I really want a 4 seater with ability to quickly add a rear seat if company is in town? Any recommendations?
@lakesidebuggies14 күн бұрын
No the vibe has absolutely no issues like that whatsoever. Out of the box they are fantastic. The screen on the Magic's Gen 2 is not touch screen and it's also very unresponsive it's nothing more than a digital screen to see your speedometer That's why I bypassed it for my stereo setup on the white when I did a while back
@lakesidebuggies14 күн бұрын
I don't think there's such a thing as an easy to remove rear seat, but the rear seat will bolt up to the forward facing four seater, it's just not designed to be removed on demand and requires different rear seat brackets , but it's very straight forward to take off and install. But I wouldn't want to do it on a regular basis

I regret my decision to purchase the Coleman/Kandi golf cart from Lowe's, which was labeled as a Kandi model. From the start, this expensive mistake has been nothing but a headache. After just a few months of light use, the cart stopped charging altogether. Now, it’s just a hunk of useless metal sitting in my garage, collecting dust and reminding me of my poor choice. Trying to resolve this issue has been an absolute nightmare. I've reached out to customer service for both Kandi and Coleman multiple times, and all I've received are runarounds and finger-pointing. Both companies claim they are not responsible for the warranty, and I’m left stuck in this frustrating loop of blame. It’s clear that neither company stands behind their products or cares about their customers’ satisfaction. I am thoroughly disappointed and wish I could go back in time to avoid this purchase. It’s a waste of money and an even bigger waste of my time. Avoid Lowe's, Coleman, and Kandi like the plague! Save yourself the hassle and invest in a product that actually comes with decent customer service and a reliable warranty. Trust me, you do not want to end up like me with a broken golf cart that no one wants to take responsibility for! I have been trying to contact your customer service team via the phone numbers you provided, but unfortunately, I have not received any answers. This experience has left me frustrated and concerned about the overall customer support. I would like to initiate a return for a product I am extraordinarily dissatisfied with due to its poor quality. I regret purchasing and hope to resolve this issue as soon as possible. Note that it comes with six batteries, and each costs $500!

Since the chassis is Chinese, how is the frame treated or what material is it?
@lakesidebuggies14 күн бұрын
The frame is powder coated. Just like every automotive manufacturer has done for the last 70+ years with their steel frames, and because we have a lithium battery there's no worry of lead acid spills or corrosion like a rusty old ezgo would have

I have answered my own question as to whether the 48 to 12 volt reducer was needed . After the battery was all installed (2018 Club car ) and hooked up I turned on the key and measured voltage at the head light switch , it was 13.4v so no don't need the reducer at least on these newer Club cars. Note: don't turn the headlights on until after you have checked the voltage, just to be sure.
@lakesidebuggies2 күн бұрын
If you have headlights on your cart it's always good to verify whether or not you've already got a voltage reducer. Typically much newer golf carts will have a voltage reducer. you don't want two voltage reducers on a cart.
@davemoseley7737Ай бұрын
I was waiting though the whole video for him to address wether or not the voltage reducer was used or why it was not used, he seemed pretty sure it would not be but I really would like to know why it wasn't .
@lakesidebuggies14 күн бұрын
Regardless if this car needed a reducer or not you need to verify that on your own each unit will be built differently. This is a very new onward, and it does not require a reducer to be added

Wouldn’t it be better to have the battery centered in the battery tray for weight distribution, rather than a 100lbs all on one side?
@davemoseley7737Ай бұрын
There is a metal ridge that sticks up about 2 inches, and will not really let you set a batterie on it, not to mention all the wiring that runs along it.

@lakesidebuggies14 күн бұрын
We're removing 400 lbs of lead acid batteries from that battery tray, I prefer to put the pack on the passenger side to offset the driver weight, it's a non issue to put a hundred pound pack wherever it lands, the plastic is also reinforced from the bottom. That's an interesting concern you have but definitely the first time I've heard it

What's the KEY DIFFERENCES between the EV and the FLEX model?
@lakesidebuggies3 ай бұрын
The key difference is that the flex has an upgraded front and rear suspension, it rides phenomenally. The flex also has our signature front end styling. Both models are actually pretty awesome and ride well but the flex stands out as the premium model for sure. Both models share the same interior and electronics as well. So the EV series is a seriously good value at $1500 less
