You disconnected a blue wire while removing the charge port wires. What was the blue wire and why did you disconnect it? Thanks

@ I believe that is the charger interlock wire, disconnecting it will bypass the interlock. I may have accidentally edited that out by mistake, I went on a small rant about charge ports that I removed from this video, good catch

At 43:01 it appears that the battery moved! Had you not yet secured the battery? I was wondering about this earlier in the of what type of fasteners you use to secure the battery to the plastic tub? Thanks

Sorry, I’ve got to save some of the professional magic for myself lol. It’s a little tricky to show on a six passenger as it’ll be different on various models. Rule of thumb. Just keep the wires clean and out of sight. Thanks for watching!

I found that pulling the floor mat right out not only gets it out of your way but also gives you access to wire routing channels that run under it, on mine one of these channels was empty so that's where I ran my gauge wire and bundled all the excess up behind the dash. I suppose some carts may have accessories that use that one.

I have answered my own question as to whether the 48 to 12 volt reducer was needed . After the battery was all installed (2018 Club car ) and hooked up I turned on the key and measured voltage at the head light switch , it was 13.4v so no don't need the reducer at least on these newer Club cars. Note: don't turn the headlights on until after you have checked the voltage, just to be sure.

Hey Kevin, Got my vibe and loving it however, charger fan stopped kicking on last night and is no longer working. James is sending me a new charger, is it possible for you to send me a video on how to swap chargers out? Never done it, is it pretty straight forward or should I take it to a local shop to have it done? Thanks brother

Glad to hear that James is on top of it! Did he tell you to check and we if the battery switch is turned on? The charger will not charge if that’s off

And it’s a very easy swap. Everything is accessible from the top with clear visible access the charger is located behind the battery in the center of the battery tray

What is the function of the rectangular orange gage with green & black wires located to the left of the new battery gage just installed?

That’s a factory battery error Light, when the club cars are sitting still, and the batteries are dangerously low on charge this light illuminates orange to quickly indicate to course managers that a unit must be recharged. It’s no longer hooked up and is unused in the lithium conversion.

That will depend on weather you’ve got one or not, in this cart it was not needed.

I was waiting though the whole video for him to address wether or not the voltage reducer was used or why it was not used, he seemed pretty sure it would not be but I really would like to know why it wasn't .

Regardless if this car needed a reducer or not you need to verify that on your own each unit will be built differently. This is a very new onward, and it does not require a reducer to be added

When you removed the original charging port / cord, Did you just cut the reed switch wire? If so I didn't see any specific action with it. I only ask because I am stumped on my install. Every thing looks right and cart won't go. I can hear the solenoid clicking but no motor.

Wouldn’t it be better to have the battery centered in the battery tray for weight distribution, rather than a 100lbs all on one side?

There is a metal ridge that sticks up about 2 inches, and will not really let you set a batterie on it, not to mention all the wiring that runs along it.

Actually its not metal it is plastic, but think it adds structure to the plastic tub so best not cut out.

We're removing 400 lbs of lead acid batteries from that battery tray, I prefer to put the pack on the passenger side to offset the driver weight, it's a non issue to put a hundred pound pack wherever it lands, the plastic is also reinforced from the bottom. That's an interesting concern you have but definitely the first time I've heard it

The charging port in the video is round, but the one in that kit on your website is square. I've got a 2019 CC onward with the round charging port like the one in the video. The charging port in the video is round, but the one in that same kit on your website is square??

Both his website and the Fleet Lithium website show the charger as having a round port, as well as the battery-side cable that you attach. It is also not the same as the 3-pin charging port already present on the cart (we have a 2018 Onward).

@@b0bsaget007yep I saw that, but that's not what is shown in this video. The one in the video does not look round. I guess he doesn't want to sell too many of these kids since I messed him on here and I'll message him on his website haven't heard nothing

We do have both round and square ports available, I hope to have the various kit options on our website soon and I appreciate you pointing this out! I have the exact same car and used the exact same setup but for some reason after install the Healdights, horn, and Turn signals will not work. I have traced every wire, and every fuse which are all still good. Have you ever seen that issue?

Sounds like you may have hooked your headlights directly to the 51 v source, you need to verify with your dealer if you need a voltage reducer or not
