"Only one person should go to the bottom" being followed by "Okay, I'll volunteer as tribute" sounds like dialogue that would be in an Edgar Wright movie if he was more familiar with online slang and primarily did romcom movies. 😂

2:44, the one and only time Kronii cursed throughout the game made it so much more impactful. It was like Swansea took full control for that final line.

Gotta say, Kronii, Hakka and Shinri's streams of the game have to be the ones where the members seemed the most impacted and shaken by the story. I found it interesting how they all really delved into the details of the game, hell, even stuff I didn't notice the first time. They were easily the best playthroughs of this game. It was noticeable how by the end they were all just murmuring the text. Must've been quite a ride.

She found an aspect of herself through swansea then she used that to convey his speech, which paired really well with the overall speech!

Kronii really hit the nail on the head with her delivery of Swansea’s monologue as a man at the end of the road with nothing left to lose. In addition to his family that he leaves behind, he garners further sympathy by revealing that his protective nature over the cryopods was so because he was saving one for Daisuke, which showed that he was more compassionate than his sassy, drunken nature let on before. Most importantly, he exposed Jimmy for the monstrous, irredeemable coward that he is before dropping one last “f you” (one that jimmy frankly deserves). Feel like that was the most appropriate time for Kronii to drop the filter, as it was the best way to convey Swansea’s justified hatred towards jimmy for what he did to everyone. So at the end of the day, Kronii love 💙 Jimmy hate 😡

Not gonna lie, ever since I watched Mouthwashing for the first time, Swansea's speech had been lingering in my head for days. Incredible scriptwriting, paired with Kronii's amazing VA work that really dives deep into the character. Though lowkey, I kinda wish she’d cuss more like in the dialogue, but this is already perfect. Thanks for clipping this, Nerrev.

Kronii made me realize once more that voice acting isn't really about changing your voice. It's more about the way a person speaks and the subtle changes in their tone and pronunciation. Acting as a personality and not just as a set of vocal chords. She gave so much life into these characters. In a seemingly effortless way too.

At first glance when people talk about voice acting they're looking for voice change when it's not all about that, it's like what you said, and that made her playthrough more engaging and made the characters feel more alive Nothing was different about the stream like she's doing it like any day but it's when she reads these dialogues she's different Mouthwashing is so well written it made her lock in

Spot on. You can change how your voice sounds so much but achieve little, but the true point of voice acting is to give life and meaning to the character through the delivery of tone and emotion. Kronii’s delivery of the speech wonderfully paints swansea as a man that is full of defeat yet still spiteful towards how everything he has done came to such an end.
