I caught a nice 20 inch walleye like that a month ago on the Maumee river in Ohio during the walleye run. That fish needed a break so I let him go.

That will actually be your 5. If you catch them, you can give them to someone, that doesnt allow you to continue to fish. I can shoot my limit of dove, give them to you, that doesnt allow me to continue to shoot birds.

Does the wissahickon stock more trout than pennypack? You seem to still kill it where as all of the holes around PP seem to be completely empty

I've been fishing these creeks for over 20 years. There are plenty of trout left they stock thousands, you just have to understand where to look for the fish you are looking to catch. Nine times out of ten if you go to the right spots and use the right techniques the fish will follow. Also if you aren't fishing good you won't catch fish.

is there a reason you don't keep them? im just confused i see so many trout fisherman that refuse to keep the fish. it makes no sense. messing with wildlife for fun... not judging you and not saying you do this. I just was taught the exact opposite. to leave the wildlife alone unless you're harvesting. to let it be at balance and peace. great video you earned a sub!

Most of these fish are actually grown in hatcheries and stocked for fishing enjoyment. Using a rubber net and fishing with lures single hook pinched barbs or even treble hooked lures with pinched barbs actually won’t cause fish much harm. Using the right equipment fishing can be a lot of fun and letting them go to be enjoyed again can work great. Some places with wild trout I definitely recommend people don’t over fish those areas and definitely abide by those regulations. Keeps the fish healthy and strong . Any fish you gill hook or gut hook should always bring home.

I just found a yellow perch upside down with a hook in its mouth, I felt so bad that someone left it in there to die it was still breathing but I couldn’t remove the hook, I also thought the best thing was to take it home and not let it die slowly.

🎣 I enjoy using two types of berkley power baits and they are the 1"/ 2 cm power nymphs and the color is orange brown for this one and then there is the 3-inch trout floating worm in Orange peel color. both work excellent for trout. That's just crazy here, never seen anything like that. Catching somebody else's line and there's a trout on their. Great video for sure

Definitely croakers and spots like the blood worms. You can cast near pilings and catch sheepshead too. Emerald Isle NC here.

👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 just awesome here, I wish they would come to Bethlehem Pennsylvania and stock a few of the streams and creeks, like the monocacy Creek plus other ones too. Anyway it doesn't make sense. the Pennsylvania fish and game commission don't really stock the way they used too, yet they continue to raise the prices on fishing license in trout stamp. Instead of making everything easier for people to afford, they want to make it harder on us

Start out fishing and end up in a gun fight! Don't take it seriously. I'm from NJ northern NJ just outside of NYC. I've always enjoyed fishing in a city or sizable town. Then again? I like being out in the country where I live now. Rock Bass are great! Love Surf fishing! I just really like to fish.

Btw bro very sorry for the state you’re in .Trout fishing just as bad as Maryland if not worse because of the so called youth day . 2 stockings a year majority of streams is a joke tbh absolutely looney! I quit wasting money on my Maryland resident license and never buying PA license again after last year. WV is where it is at bro if you want to do some trout fishing! Main streams are stocked 15 times in the spring ! January thru end of May as well as twice in fall . Secondary streams are done once and February and biweekly til May as well . Trout on average way larger and real brooders are put in not the 2-3 pound Maryland/PA brooder 18-20 inches heck in may a lot of the regular fishing going in wv streams are 15-19 inches lol . I would advise ya to take a trip south next year and enjoy . Take a look at Wvdnr page and look at the trout stocking .

@@EasternPaFishing the pain in the butt thing about it is that was actually a spinner that belonged to my great grandfather who hand made them and gave each of us great grandkids a few of his spinners my white one with black dots kicked tail and my yellow with pink dots does really well

🎉 congratulations on catching this nice sized big bass out of a small creek like that, for sure it's a beauty. also that water looks very clear and clean and that is a bad thing in a way. If it's that clear right, so you can see the fish and the fish can see you and that's when they'll take off and hide somewhere else, It may make it difficult for the fish to be caught. Still a great video and I enjoy watching.
