PALOMINO TROUT Are EVERYWHERE at This Creek (Pa Trout Fishing)

I was stocked trout fishing in Pennsylvania and caught a Huge Palomino trout from the creek. Every Pa trout fishing season I get excited to catch one of these golden rainbow trout while creek fishing. Catching a palomino trout while creek fishing can be a fishing challenge, but I somehow always catch one of these big trout. Pa trout fishing is some of the best stocked trout fishing in the country!

What’s the key to catching palomino? I always see them but they never bite at all

Is that just a weightless powerbait worm? How do you cast that a decent distance without weight? Also, i'm not sure where you are in eastern PA, but at the skippack creek in Evansburg state park there were at least two pretty decent palomino trout. I didn't fish that section since there was like 4 other guys there, but if i had to guess, they were probably around 20 inches, i could see them from the walking bridge.

A good reel, a good rod with good eyelets, and p line fluorocarbon.

I use 4lb line, the smaller test will allow you to cast much further. I also use the smallest split shot I have available, I very rarely use more than one even in fast moving water.

One time I caught a bunch of giant rainbow trout on kitech swimbaits. I also had a hard time believing that the trout would attempt to eat such a large meal! They get hungry in those tiny stocked creeks!
