Did you have to make a reservations at Kanan restaurant and did you have to pay to be seatin at the nest?
@natalielever34293 жыл бұрын
Hi! On our first or second day we stopped by Kanan when we were passing it and made a reservation. There was I believe a $70 consumption minimum per person to be seated in the nest but we had an amazing server that saw we could not eat or drink anymore because we were STUFFED so he didn’t charge us that and only charged us for what we ordered🙌 Fantastic dining experience!

What‘s the weather like? I thought it was warm this time of the year but I see you are wearing a jacket… I‘m travelling to Lima next week and I don‘t know what to expect because it always looks gloomy..😅

Hi! So we actually went on this trip early September so it was transitioning at that time from their Winter to Summer so we got a bit of a mix of weather!

Great video… it inspired me and husband to move our trip up from next year to this year… few questions I have for you about the outfits you wore during the trip if you don’t mind sharing. I Read your blog about the clothes you brought which is a great help😀… (that is one of my concerns about traveling to Peru I don’t want to overthink the outfits and over pack.. and not have the right clothing for the trip if you know what I mean) I noticed in you vlog that you used a cross bag for your days in Lima… which I plan I doing.. and you wore hiking boots for the hiking days. The day of Machu Picchu You wore a poncho and leggings with hiking boots… correct? and did you have a long sleeve shirt or short sleeve under the poncho? We’re you comfortable with just that? Only reason I ask is because that is an outfit that I would wear on a normal day. Also, where did you get the face shield from?
@natalielever34293 жыл бұрын
Outfit planning was so hard for me too! So I completely understand and I wanted to make sure as well that I didn’t overpack. Best advice is to wear/pack in layers (if going the same time we did which was early last September) I would say having a tiny bag like I did that is a cross body or fanny pack is best and to always remember to keep it where you can see it. The day I went to Machu Picchu since I knew we would hike down I actually wore a sports tank underneath which was a lot of help because I did work up a sweat on that hike and it was actually amazing weather that day and a little warmer! We got our face shields from Amazon! I hope you have a FANTASTIC trip! It’s a beautiful country❤️

We were staying on the beach strip area so yes, taxis were everywhere but when at the cenotes it was a little more of a wait since you’re on the side of the highway but you can always just ask the taxi driver who dropped you off to pick you up in two hours or ask the people at the cenotes to call one for you.
