Traveling for the very first time to South America and we exploring the beautiful and adventurous country of Peru! This trip was far more than what we expected and gave us some amazing memories that we will never forget. My favorite had to be visiting Machu Picchu at sunrise it was so tranquil and beautiful.
If you are looking for more details from our trip like hotels, costs, and tips then head over to my blog www.nataliestr... and read all about our 8 day trip. You can also find a FREE downloadable Cusco travel guide on my blog website that shares all the best restaurants and attractions to visit in the former Inca capital.

Great video… it inspired me and husband to move our trip up from next year to this year… few questions I have for you about the outfits you wore during the trip if you don’t mind sharing. I Read your blog about the clothes you brought which is a great help😀… (that is one of my concerns about traveling to Peru I don’t want to overthink the outfits and over pack.. and not have the right clothing for the trip if you know what I mean) I noticed in you vlog that you used a cross bag for your days in Lima… which I plan I doing.. and you wore hiking boots for the hiking days. The day of Machu Picchu You wore a poncho and leggings with hiking boots… correct? and did you have a long sleeve shirt or short sleeve under the poncho? We’re you comfortable with just that? Only reason I ask is because that is an outfit that I would wear on a normal day. Also, where did you get the face shield from?
@natalielever3429
@natalielever3429 3 жыл бұрын
Outfit planning was so hard for me too! So I completely understand and I wanted to make sure as well that I didn’t overpack. Best advice is to wear/pack in layers (if going the same time we did which was early last September) I would say having a tiny bag like I did that is a cross body or fanny pack is best and to always remember to keep it where you can see it. The day I went to Machu Picchu since I knew we would hike down I actually wore a sports tank underneath which was a lot of help because I did work up a sweat on that hike and it was actually amazing weather that day and a little warmer! We got our face shields from Amazon! I hope you have a FANTASTIC trip! It’s a beautiful country❤️

How did you guys buy things ? We’re you using debit/USD or did you convert the money ? Also did you need Covid test when flying in and out of Lima to Cusco ?
@natalielever3429
@natalielever3429 3 жыл бұрын
Hi! We took out some money before the trip and converted it when we landed… also took out more from the atms at the airport and at pharmacies throughout the trip. Only used our cards at certain restaurants and at our hotels. No test was required when flying within Peru during our travel.

@natalielever3429
@natalielever3429 3 жыл бұрын
Hi! The rules are constantly changing (every two weeks) so I can’t say what the requirements are now but when we went you did not have to vaccinated and everyone entering (vaccinated or not) had to show a covid test result before boarding your flight to peru. Once in peru no test was required.
