That is so good. Well done. Trust you have a great life. I didn't come out until I was 70. It was illegal to be gay here before that and I could have been jailed for up to 21 years for being gay. Many were. Married to my accepting wife for 51 years before she passed. Both my adult kids are very accepting which is great. That fact that I am gay was medically proven. It is so much easier now.

This story reminded me of an ex friend who, after finding out I'm gay, told me he never wanted to discuss it with me and I should rather feel free to discuss it with our other friends. Years later, he would sneakily try and orchestrate me living with a girl he'd fallen out with behind my back and both friendships totally imploded... So, I guess you didn't have it too bad. 😁

I have never had a group of close 7:48 friends nor the opportunity to travel. The years of my life between 12 & 63 were hell..Much anxiety, fear ,deception. I was 63 before I encountered God during a. Sermon based on I Kings 18 in the Holy Bible--the subject was about building altars on we which we would be the living sacrifices. The stones that we were to use to construct our altars were our problematic areas of life.😊 Whoa! I had many! As I built my Altar, confessing sins, lies, and ot 7:48 her short comings, I was SET FREE of them!!! I was alone, in prayer. Of course, I have had to add further stones. I now. 79. I have been able to be celibate for 16 years. I am a lover of the Bible and I constantly read and study it. I am not perfect yet , but I trust Jesus! My time is coming! Hallelujah!!! Build your altars!!!!❤😅 (By the way, I was born and raised on the Southside of Chicago. )
