Anybody know how the torpedo launchers were moved to the "throat" section?

You started off well..with the original designs...then you screwed up using Kelvin designs. Kelvin designs of the enterprise is not star trek
@jeffturnbull96616 күн бұрын
This is well animated, but I kinda feel that it falls victim to the most recent fad of Trek space battles, it seems that the current preference is to show scores, or hundreds of ships in battle, lots of phaser arcs and torpedo explosions, sort of exciting but it trades true dramatic effect for mere spectacle, still, well executed tho

My only suggestion/criticism is that when the Enterprise arrives, she appears to be in pristine condition. It would have been better if she had arrived with a lot of battle damage! Big burn spots..maybe a bit missing from the main section, half of one of the nacelles missing!!

SCREW the prime directive. You blew up two Klingon ships to save USS Vindicator. Who was on those those ships? Mortok, Gowron, that guy that cooks gauk on deep space 9. If you're in for a for a penny you're in for a pound. Why not take out the armada too.

Fun fact those little "half" shuttle pods with arms you see in the background are actually dubber "work bees" and are usually seen preforming construction on the enterprise in TMP can also be seen hauling cargo containers. Also this is not the only time they were used they were also used in TNG several times in fact. Just wanted to put that out there so y'all now know what those yellow things were.

“...her FORTH five year mission”. Yes the Enterprise shall sally forth to do battle with the galaxy under Capn..., I mean Captain Kirk.

I like everything about TMP refit, except the front of the nacelles. That being said, I still like TOS Enterprise better. That being said, I can watch TMP reveal scene over and over and never get tired of it.

I completely get the behind the scenes reason for redesigning the Enterprise but… in universe, I feel like with all that they had to do to refit her, it would’ve been easier to just make a new ship 🤷🏻♂️

That was kinda beautiful but sad it is not real. I wish there was a monument for Star Trek. It stood out in hopes for our future. And mankind’s path that could and should very well be.

Having been in a modern shipyard and actually seen ships being built I can tell you this isn't how it's done. You assemble smaller hull modules which you mate to larger modules until you've got a ship. It's sorta like putting together a jigsaw puzzle.
