Dear Mr. McConnell, your latest video was totally awesome. It Wowed me just like when I was a small child in the mid 60's watching Star Trek (Original Series). That's Enterprise-D, about a hundred years later. The TOS era didn't have any of that nonsense

Not in these ships. In the Kirk Era of Trek, Starfleet ships were exclusively military and exploration vessels, not glorified luxury cruisers like the Galaxy Class was.
