I’ve never used that treatment before so I’m not sure how it reacts. But for the keratin treatment I use, blowdrying isn’t necessary.

I appreciate the 4a tutorial! I have 4a and 3c hair combination. Quick question: would it be double processing to get a keratin treatment after getting a protein treatment??
@timelesslymirna
@timelesslymirna 5 күн бұрын
I'm happy you found the video helpful! Yes it would be considered double processing. I would wait at least a month after your original protein treatment washes out before applying a keratin treatment. This way you can avoid protein overload.

✨Want to cheat a silk press? Use a straightening brush! The TYMO Ionic Plus Straightening Brush is the best way to smooth and straighten your hair quickly without the use of a flat iron. This is great from my clients who have fine hair and don’t like to use flat irons because they like to keep some volume in their hair. A straightening brush is also a great alternative to a flat iron because it’s easy to use and smoothes your hair out so quickly. The Anti-scald design lets me get close to my roots without burning my scalp or ears! amzn.to/4hRICcN

🚩You’re ripping out your hair every time you detangle your dry hair. Hair Elasticity is your hair’s ability to stretch and return to its original shape without breaking.➰ 💧Wet hair is able to stretch up to 50% of it’s original length without breaking 🌵Dry hair is only able to stretch 20% of it’s original length without breaking This means if you want to avoid losing a ton of hair on wash day, it’s best to detangle your hair when it’s thoroughly saturated in water. This is why I always say stop detangling your hair before washing (🙅🏾‍♀️pre-poo). Just hop in the shower and get your hair wet. This will save you time and keep your hair on your head.💁🏾‍♀️ 🗓️Need help with your curls? Book a virtual consultation and let’s chat 💬

Hi, loved your video. I got my keratin treatment back in September of this year and I’m about to be 4 weeks in next week. I washed my hair once since the appointment, and my next wash day is next week. But today, for the first time, I put very loose cornrolls on my head for the whole day to give my hair a break form all the combing and touching (my hair gets naturally oily looking after a couple of days and it looked dull, plus I added hair oil and massage it into my scalp today) and so much pieces of hair fell out when I comb it (wide tooth comb) I never seen that much come out before. Is that normal? Could it be also because the keratin is on top of 9 month old relaxer? What products should I use to prevent it from happening again? Thank you 😊
@timelesslymirna
@timelesslymirna 25 күн бұрын
I’m happy you enjoyed the video! I can’t be too sure without a thorough consultation but it sounds like you’re combing your dry hair. This causes a lot of breakage especially if you only wash your hair once to twice a month. I recommend cleansing your hair once a week especially because you have a relaxer and keratin, your hair needs moisture. Also I would refrain from running a comb or brush through your dry hair. I have recommend my clients use the curl revival system to maintain their moisture/protein balance while having a keratin treatment: www.timelesslymirna.com/hair-products/curl-revival-collection If you don’t notice a change after a month of weekly washing, you should go to your stylist so they can see what is happening to your hair. Hopes this helps 💕

No bleach was used to refresh her color 😲 After her initial color grew out she was ready for a refresh of her copper hair. Instead of using bleach, I grabbed a high lift color here’s why: ✨More gentle than bleaching her entire head every two months ✨Cost efficient ✨Less time ✨Rich dimensional color that won’t fade out quickly I know the girls get scared at the sheer thought of using bleach on their curls … but they still want to play with color though😏 I’ve been really into using high lift hair color lately. It has more peroxide in it to help open up the hair cuticles and lift the hair to brighter colors, without the use of bleach. I mean, look how gorgeous and multidimensional the color is 😍😍😍 Which color have you always wanted to try?
