clean window, then rub with 0000 steel wool (or a claybar if you wanna go extreme clean), then clean again. apply 2 coats by wetting a towel sparingly and waiting 10 min between coats, then buff off after 20 min till clear. will last you twice as long and will bead off fthose smaller droplets too.

Imo Patagonia quality is top notch. Everything more expensive than that you are paying for the brand . I cannot imagine anything else being better than my Bettersweater or nano jackets plus my parka.

Well , I cold wash north face and Columbia gear, and then dry them flat . They look new for at least 4-5 years and are wearable well after a decade. Most people hot wash and throw in the dryer.. The question is if they last after that .

I live far up in the Canadian north. 95% of my clothing is Patagonia, Arctyrex and North Face. My absolute favourites are my Patagonia set. I will only buy Patagonia from now on, especially after reading how environmentally conscious they try to be.

I noticed the 20 v specs say it goes 130 mph and the 40 v says 125 mph there seems to be 2 different 20 v one with super boost one without. I guess this only features variable speeds and a vacuum. I would throw a hose clamp on or something but my luck the whole nozzle would break off one day. I’m guessing the 40 v can’t take 20 v batteries? Thanks for the video!

I bought one to give it a try on our front door. Love it. Ordered two more. If you can kick in the lower part of your door, you either need to buy a better door or secure the one you have better. And nothing is perfect, but this thing will slow down an intruder long enough to grab the Mossberg 88. When they hear the sound of a shell being loaded, they'll flee. And lastly, sorry, but you made an ugly mess of that install.

In 1985, I bought a couple of Patagonia Parkas, Jackets, tops, and so on that I would be able to wear in any environment you can imagine from -15 F and above. I'm now 61 and just about everything I bought is still going strong. It's insane to think that I still have them and most people have no idea that they're that old. In 1985, my waterproof goretex H2O no parka cost me $365.00 USD which seemed like a lot then, but I've saved a few thousand by not needing to replace it. If you're smart, you'll choose wisely and buy Patagonia.

I bought one, but I never installed it. It just felt too flimsy in my hands. I think placing a 2x4 across the door held by brackets is the way to go. It would make me sleep better at night.

It works good for vacuuming up pine needles and dry leaves on rock garden. I'm going to flatten the end of the vacuum tube so that it will fit inside roof gutters to suck up all the pine needles. Full charge lasts about 30 minutes at full speed.

I was going to buy this, but I've watched several videos where doors are easily kicked in that have these locks on them. Problem is the cheap aluminum that they're made of and they easily bend allowing the door to be kicked in. Why don't these companies make them out of steel??? If they did, I'd be a customer!
@HomeFIXR

Very fair. I wonder if any companies out there make any out of higher quality materials. I may make this into a video

Use quality 4" construction screws. With this, proper security hinges, and proper deadbolt reinforcement there should be no easy way to kick a quality exterior door in.

I agree 💯 % with you! I also buy Arcteryx. I have a synthetic Patagonia hoody that I think they actually called a sweater, didn’t understand why BUT I’ve had it for approximately 12 years and it STILL has zero issues with stitching, unlike one of my dish jackets always losing feathers which is very annoying considering the price point of my Arcteryx down.

It says to apply with a SMALL piece of cloth. Using a big cloth (or paper towel) is very wasteful. Also let it dry to cure before removing the haze. I've used it on all my cars since 1979, and have never seen anything better, providing you follow the instructions.

The concept you’re speaking on has been known by those who build their wealth. Same concept applies to food and your body. Buy cheap junk food- pay high health insurance. Buy slightly priced higher, but healthy, food- save on health bills.

I just started buying Patagonia stuff because of their warranty. Super satisfied, so far. You’re right about the longevity of better clothing. I have several Marmot jackets that are 11 years old and look brand new. I only bought new ones this year because I just felt like having new jackets. I easily could get another 5 possibly 10 years out of a couple $300 jackets.
