pro tip: a lot of people buy patagonia stuff and don't wear it often because it's "fancy" to them. you can find practically brand new stuff on ebay for waaaay below worn wear prices all the time. i don't buy new patagonia stuff anymore even if it's on sale.

Any brand that try’s to put the planet first, pays good wages to its staff, repairs their stuff, encourages not buying needlessly & uses sustainable production methods is a friend of mine.Patty is a great ethical brand that the other big guns need to follow👍

Patagonia generally offers better quality than Arc’teryx. I’ve owned many garments from both brands. When it comes to shell jackets, the British brand RAB is on par with Arc’teryx jackets but at a slightly lower price. What I’m trying to say is that Arc’teryx clothing is a bit overrated, even though they obviously produce quality as well.

their prices have held pretty stable with inflation and patagonia is about the same price as marmot, ll bean, north face, carhartt. It all comes with lifetime warranty and repairs with patagonia though. even their used clothes come with the warranty, and they throw all their end of season stuff and returns on the used website (worn wear). The better sweater wont shrink in the dryer because its synthetic, its not recommended but its totally fine to dry even on high it wont shrink. the better sweaters do pill over time though but can be shaved

Great video, I totally agree with what you say. Have a old black fleece from Northface that I bought in 1999. I was totally miffed that the elastic band gave out last week 😂 but it was the inner rubber not the fabric covering it that had totally gone brittle at several places as happens to old rubber. Having said that, fleece and leather hiking shoes totally last forever. Pants, socks, shirts etc not so much.

I'm SMH about your biggest complaint. I have owned this exact model sweeper/vac since 2013 and it still works great. I will acknowledge that it is not the most powerful unit out there, I have an EGO blower for the big jobs. There's a reason B & D calls this a sweeper instead of a blower. The sweeper is great because it is so much lighter and quieter than my EGO. Now, getting to your biggest complaint. The black piece that holds the blow tube on is not meant to be pulled on. You are supposed to push on the area with the horizontal ridges (that's why there is a spring underneath it) and that will allow you to remove the tube so you can convert the sweeper to vacuum mode. In the 11 years that I have owned this, that piece has never come off of mine. Also, I bet the reason that your vacuum mode is not working is there is probably some debris stuck in the impeller or tube. I've had to remove debris from my impeller and tube and it fixed the problem. On a positive note, I must say that you have a soothing broedcaster voice.

clean window, then rub with 0000 steel wool (or a claybar if you wanna go extreme clean), then clean again. apply 2 coats by wetting a towel sparingly and waiting 10 min between coats, then buff off after 20 min till clear. will last you twice as long and will bead off fthose smaller droplets too.

Well , I cold wash north face and Columbia gear, and then dry them flat . They look new for at least 4-5 years and are wearable well after a decade. Most people hot wash and throw in the dryer.. The question is if they last after that .

I live far up in the Canadian north. 95% of my clothing is Patagonia, Arctyrex and North Face. My absolute favourites are my Patagonia set. I will only buy Patagonia from now on, especially after reading how environmentally conscious they try to be.

I noticed the 20 v specs say it goes 130 mph and the 40 v says 125 mph there seems to be 2 different 20 v one with super boost one without. I guess this only features variable speeds and a vacuum. I would throw a hose clamp on or something but my luck the whole nozzle would break off one day. I’m guessing the 40 v can’t take 20 v batteries? Thanks for the video!

I bought one to give it a try on our front door. Love it. Ordered two more. If you can kick in the lower part of your door, you either need to buy a better door or secure the one you have better. And nothing is perfect, but this thing will slow down an intruder long enough to grab the Mossberg 88. When they hear the sound of a shell being loaded, they'll flee. And lastly, sorry, but you made an ugly mess of that install.

In 1985, I bought a couple of Patagonia Parkas, Jackets, tops, and so on that I would be able to wear in any environment you can imagine from -15 F and above. I'm now 61 and just about everything I bought is still going strong. It's insane to think that I still have them and most people have no idea that they're that old. In 1985, my waterproof goretex H2O no parka cost me $365.00 USD which seemed like a lot then, but I've saved a few thousand by not needing to replace it. If you're smart, you'll choose wisely and buy Patagonia.
