Stunning layout, can I ask how and what you use to resize and print your photos. You probably have said but I’m new to your channel and very new to scrapbooking photos. I’m loving learning from you

Thank you so much Tonia. I use a program called Historian & do a bit of planning in Aritsan - both are available from Forever.com and I have had them for years. I also use an Epson XP8700 printer at home at the Epson printing program can help with planning photo sizes and doing collages. The other good one to use is an app called PicFrame as that is super easy to use from your phone. You do need to pay a monthly subscriber fee for it to remove the watermark - but the photo resolution when saving photos is excellent as the app doesn't reduce the photo quality like some do. Hope this helps.

I have had really good luck with sandwiching wax paper between the die and the paper to release all of the little bits and pieces. It work rather well with the Mediterraneum Blooms leaf die.
@JaniceGilhooleyКүн бұрын
I haven't tried that trick yet and keep meaning too. Need to find some wax paper. sometimes I just drop the die onto the table to dislodge most of the pieces.

Great pages. Where do you print your photos? And where do you get your magnet sheets? Thanks
@JaniceGilhooleyКүн бұрын
Thank you so much. I print my photos at home on my Epon XP 8700 (although I now wish I had the inkjet Epson). My magnet sheets I purchased from Amazon - but they are not super strong, so will have to see if I can find some stronger ones.

I have a number of 6 X 6 paper packs I have never used except for cards because quite frankly I didn't know how to use them on large layouts. I realise now looking at what you have done is that my mind was locked into 12 x 12 cardstock for that size layout, so that I couldn't see beyond as my mind is not creative at all. I am a copier or follower of other people's ideas. It sums up my personality actually!! That is why seeing your pages without photos & having you suggest themes helps me more than seeing photos on a page as I can't see beyond the page, sadly!! So thank you for all these designs you create showing new ways outside the box for scrapping, I for one truly appreciate it. I needed someone like you, Janice or Erin in my early days of S/B when I first got involved in the 90s with CM.

that was a very enjoyable presentation. You make a good salesperson!! Who would have thought that you were all so upset 4 months ago with the sudden news of the closure of CTMH & now how much you have embraced Stampin' Up ! In fact, as far as the stamping part of it goes, it is elevated!! I really do like that embossing folder now that you have shown us. I had no idea that it would be like it is!! The flap is a neat idea & yes, as time goes by you will see if it needs velcro but I suspect it won't. Nothing worse than having the unexpected happening & you spend the day at the hospital. I still remember my grandmother passing away on Christmas eve & the rush a day or two earlier to get my mother upto the hospital at Mudgee west of Sydney & so Christmas day 1959 was very different for us as we didn't have the cars of today nor was the house air-conditioned etc. My grandparents had a sheep property. All I remember is my Aunts bustling around cleaning out the place as my mother was the youngest of the family & so we were the last of the grandchildren born, so sadly it was the end of an era!! I have a feeling we may have had our Christmas celebration on New Years day before heading south to the beach for our annual holiday which would have only been 2 weeks instead of three.
@JaniceGilhooley6 күн бұрын
Thank you Louise. I loved putting this together - even if the photos are memories that weren't quite what was expected from Christmas Day. There are always unexpected and unwelcome things that happen at any time of year and Christmas Day is no different really.
