I somehow missed your title page video, & I didn't see a link for it on this page.

Very cute!! Now you will definitely have to use the peppermint dots on your title page to make it cohesive with these pages!! I thought that the only thing you could add to day 2 was a wee small reindeer if there was one in the ephemera. 😄 I just watched the weather forecast for the coming week on Weather Watch TV a NZ station who do an Aussie forecast for us on Monday's & Thursdays & it looks like a nice Christmas day coming our way!! So happy Christmas for next Wednesday!!

Yes, that is a wonderful opening page for your December daily!! It is so Christmassy because on Christmas day we have lots & lots of tags & this page represents the day perfectly. Are the peppermint dots small enough to use as fillers for the tag holes? They might look cute as a finish. Katy will be happy to see the dots around the page as she does that a lot, but you haven't got the squiggles or bows on your gold lines!! I was sitting watching you make this & telling you where to put the various bits & pieces on your tags & they were the ones you chose!! 😆 Though I have to admit at first I thought tags? How is this going to work? Then as you placed them on the cardstock it all fell into place & to me it screams Christmas!! Would that I could write that so neatly!! I get it right on scraps when practicing but when it comes to the end result I stuff it up & resort to stamping! I also was tempted by that perpetual calendar but in the end I love my blue wren calendar too much to change it over to a new one. I have had it for many years now so I don't think I will be trading it. I did buy a calendar in the CTMH sales that I want to turn into a perpetual daily calendar to stick up on the wall but still haven't sat & worked out how to do it. Happy Christmas!

Absolutely gorgeous pages! You are amazing!!! When you pre-make your pages like this, do you worry about the photos you choose for the layouts in terms of colors or themes (like only tree type pictures for the Season of Elegance pages) or no?? Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful creativity with us!!
@JaniceGilhooley19 күн бұрын
Thank you so much Lisa. I usually have a plan in my head about what types of photos are going on the pages. The Christmas ones are obvious. The outdoor one I have plenty of scenery photos that I know will work well - the photos don't have to have those particular types of trees - any outdoor shots will do. As for beach - I love the beach and have so many photos ready for pages.
@ChelleStamps18 күн бұрын
I know you didn't ask my opinion, but I do so many outdoor pages because my husband and son are hunters and outdoorsmen. We also used to go camping a lot before I became disabled. Trees go with any outdoor page or pages for men, particularly if they are outdoorsy. The photos don't even need to be about outdoors at all. Trees for men are kind of like flowers for women. Flowers go on almost any feminine page. Obviously, you can use flowers on pages for men too. I don't. Just because florals just don't match my boys. They are very rustic and rough dudes ☺.
