@@Andyhhhdx Sorry, an arm/disarm is simply to turn the cameras on or off. For example, if you plan to be working in the monitored area of a camera, you could disarm it until you are finished, instead of generating unnecessary alerts. Thanks for fielding this question!

Hello buddy :) You want a microphone which removes background noise and keyboard sound? A few things which you can try...... There is a Fifine AM6 microphone which has a button to remove a lot of background noise but it does affect the way you sound but it could be an option - kzbin.info/www/bejne/jonUaIalnp6Nqac You could try a dynamic microphone and have it really close to your mouth using a boom arm and turn the volume down for the microphone itself so it only picks up your voice. There's a few I've tested which you can check out: Fifine K688 - kzbin.info/www/bejne/e3LJoWqwm794d5I Fifine AM8 - kzbin.info/www/bejne/iqW9npKGZsZ-b9k Fifine Tank3 - kzbin.info/www/bejne/r32wkKGfl9Kgq6s If you use something like OBS, then you can add a noise gate filter where a certain sound level has to be reached for it to switch the microphone on, so this is a very good way to remove a lot of background noise when you're not speaking. Hello buddy, I hope you're well :) If i'm doing live streams using OBS then I use the noise reduction filter that's built in. If I'm editing a video then I use Adobe Premiere and there is a Denoise filter which can be used.

If I remember right, if you're using OBS and trying to change the exposure on the V2 then only two numbers on the slider work, so for being able to manually configure the webcam in OBS then the V3 is better. @@anaas8526 Hello there. As far as I'm aware it works fine on Discord. I would just double check that no other programs are trying to use the webcam, so if you have any Anker software installed, just make sure that's not trying to use the webcam.

@@anaas8526 Heat can cause issues but it's not something I've experienced personally. Most webcam manufacturers have it in their specs of the webcam. Here is an example from a Dell webcam, if you go to page 12 you will see it says "The webcam can operate at a maximum ambient temperature of 40°C"

Hello there :) I hope you're well. The C615 is a pretty good one to start out with, at least you can play around with it and decide your the content creation stuff is something you want to pursue and you haven't spent a load of money on a webcam. I don't compare video recording software unfortunately, I don't really know too much about the different software. What you could try is recording your sessions using OBS (It's free). There's a lot of tutorials online which will show you how to add your webcam and microphone and be able to share your screen on it too and you can record the sessions directly onto your computer. You could then upload the sessions to Google Drive in a shared folder and you can share that link to your clients so the videos are in one place and you don't have to keep sending individual links to different people. Just remember that a lot of the time when you're compressing video to a small file size then it will lose some image quality too. If you need any advice then let us know and we'll do our best to help :)

I knock my desk all the time so I imagine other people do too :) It's good to have a listen to how much vibration sound gets generated, especially if you do live streaming so you don't want to deafen the audience if you can help it :)

Cheers buddy :) Yeah it's going to be a matter of playing with volume settings and deciding where you prefer to have the mic positioned for your own setup. It's the best feeling microphone from Fifine so far, it feels really premium.

The auto focus on it was a nightmare when I first reviewed it but I'm presuming there has been firmware updates for it now so that issue may have been resolved. Just make sure you've got some good lighting on yourself and you should be fine.

Hello buddy, I hope you're well. You could try clicking on window at the top of the screen, go down to workspaces and then click on reset to saved layout. Or you can press ALT, SHIFT and 0 on they keyboard to do the same thing. Hopefully this gets it back for you.

There isn't unfortunately. I'm pretty sure Discord doesn't allow bots to schedule slash commands but I could be wrong.

I don't make bots unfortunately. You may have to use somewhere like Fiverr to find someone that can do the coding.

Hello buddy, I hope you're well :) Are you connecting it straight in using the USB C connection or using a convertor to convert it to USB A? That could be a possible issue. If you are connecting it through USB C, then it may be worth having a look to see if there's an up to date chipset drivers for your motherboard as this could also cause your USB port to run slower.

​@@Andyhhhdx Thanks for your answer! I'm not using any converter or dongle, just straight into the usb c port. I've tried on 2 computers to see if it wasn't a PC issue, it's the same on both. As for the issue, it's still kinda smooth, but it looks a bit choppy or stuttery. I see it especially if I'm moving my hand or my head, the image kinda "jumps". Not a horrible issue but not as smooth as it should be (idk if I'm clear enough with my explanations haha)

@@retrofizz727 Your explination is perfect :) I completely understand what you mean. Are you using OBS at all? What you can try is manually configure the exposure settings and drop it down so the image is a little darker and see if that helps the movement at all (Make sure you've got the 60fps enabled in OBS for the webcam). I've had some webcams where the movement looks pretty choppy and when I drop the exposure down everything sorts itself out. It may mean that you need to blast your lights up bright.

​@@Andyhhhdx Yes I'm using OBS, and it does the same with the Camera app on windows. I've already tried tweaking exposure but can't get it to be 100% smooth, even by setting it low with lights at 100%. My lights are bright enough and if I set it even brighter it just doesn't look good on camera and it doesn't fix the issue anyway (it hurts my eyes too haha) 60fps is enabled on OBS, and I also forgot to mention that the frame drop also occurs in 30 fps mode but it's not as noticeable. Maybe I'm just too nit picky ? It's not a dslr anyway so maybe I'm just expecting too much out of a simple webcam lol.

@@retrofizz727 I'm just having a quick look over the internet to see if I can find any other suggestions. I can see a few other people that have had a similar problem. Some of them have mentioned that their graphics cards have got a USB C port on them and they've plugged it into there and it's then worked fine (This shouldn't really be a fix as you want it to work straight in a USB C port on your motherboard) it might be worth checking if your graphics card has the USB C port to test out. Some others have said about using a USB C to USB A convertor and that got it to work too... if you have one of those laying around then it could be worth trying that. Hello buddy, I hope you're well :) I know that it works in USB C mobile phones like my Samsung Galaxy S21 that's running Android. But I'm unsure when it comes to tablets. I imagine that providing it is USB C then it should work. If you're converting micro USB to USB C then I'm not sure.

Hello there, I hope you're well :) I've not personally used the C310 so I'm not sure about the quality. It is a 720p webcam compared to the Brio 100 which is 1080p so the Brio 100 should deliver a better image, although I wasn't overwhelmed with the image I got from it. The inbuilt mic isn't too bad on the Brio 100 but I would always recommend a stand-alone microphone for better audio. If you're looking for a budget microphone then I would look at the Fifine A6V, the audio quality is very good considering how cheap you can pick it up - kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z3mwp2SmpMh_oLM

@@Andyhhhdx I guess I will get the brio 100, I don't have money for an extra mic tho :D. Anyways it looks like the focus on the brio is set too far which is why you looked blurry, I remember seeing a video on how to open the old c270 and change the focus (it has a focus ring inside even though it's "fixed focus"). Hello buddy, I've just seen that you responded to my comment and I managed to read it but for some reason KZbin has completely hidden the message again now. Yes that's always an option, try and take it apart to recalibrate the focus on it. You may find that if you do get one then it may work fine for you without needing to take it apart. It should be good enough for your English lessons though, the microphone isn't too bad and you can always upgrade to a stand-alone mic in the future when you have the funds :)

Maybe your guest would need to set up OBS too and hit live, but maybe screen share your live stream as a source. It could be something worth trying and seeing how it performs.
