The Fifine AM8 microphone is used throughout the review and we are using the XLR connection with it being connected to our GoXLR Mini until the USB tests towards the end of the video. When using the USB connection, our Windows volume setting for the microphone is 88 out of 100 and the volume on the microphone itself is around 95%. No filters have been used so what you hear is what you're going to get.

Wow! I didn't realize what a difference the XLR cable would be for so many things! I'm going to have to get a bigger audio board! 😂

Hello there :) I think a lot of it is to do with the mixer you've got it hooked up to and how the equalization is programmed on there. There are some plugins for OBS which mimics that you've got an audio mixer but it's all done through software and you can move the sliders around to change the way your USB microphone sounds. Saves you having to get an XLR mic and mixer board :)
