ok my theory is,,, I've started the vid btw,, but I think that maybe the catalyst to this event was that maybe the max in the Alive universe died, hence why the place looked the same and she didn't see any changes to 'her" house when it's actually alive universe max's house. and that safi is trying to look into max's death.

I am so happy you enjoyed the game so much! I felt like it was a true successor, so it's really upsetting to see Chloe shippers being so viciously hateful about it. Like, there are some real flaws, especially in the pacing for the last episode and the final cutscene could have probably been handled with a little more finesse, but I am beyond excited about the future. Admittedly, I have reservations about the sudden boost complexity by introducing a rival and a whole super-hero like angle - but a lot of the issues I have with super-hero movies comes from the fact that they rarely give much respect to character relationships, development, showing intimacy and close companionship, anything not 'bombastic', and I feel that Deck Nine has proven themselves at least worthy of giving a chance on such a large move. Hey, just has to be better than Life is Strange 2.

I told Safi I would hurt her if I had to, because I lied to Chloe. I told Chloe I would do anything to protect her and when it came down to it, I chose Arcadia Bay. If at the end of the world I have to choose between two evils, I will choose, but I will do so being honest to myself. And to those around me.

Aaa, I wish you'd kept reading *all* of the comments after the first episode. Victoria is my favourite LiS character and you missed basically all of the important character stuff for her by stopping at either the root post or after one comment. Otherwise, really enjoying this playthrough. A huge breath of fresh air after all of the other playthroughs that I tried to watch where the person was streaming and not paying enough attention to the game, and then ended up angry when they didn't understand anything that was happening.

what the hell ! I got totally another dialogue from safi. She was going crazy about how we were gods and that the world is ours. Full evil mode. This version of Safi is much more calm. I now can understand why so many chose to stand with her. I wonder what i did to end up like that

Imagining if the moment where max falls asleep in the motel were the end of the game. Falling asleep to the credits. Would be the prefect ending for a 'bad' ending.

A lot of people would have broken having to go through all of thier worst traumatic moments like that again. Shows just how strong willed Max is.

I like this ending. Max finally realizing she has healing to do and that she has been carrying Arcadia Bay and everything that happened there (or everything that didn't happen) with her all this time, incapable of truly moving on from any of it. From Katie, from Jefferson, from Chloe. She spent so many years running away from it, from motel to motel, until she finally stopped at Celadon long enough for it to catch up with her. Now, with her new support system, she can finally heal.
