I just love Yuffie, she adds such a great dynamic to the group and she's a teenager so I love how she keeps teasing Cloud.

(discussion of stuff from the original below the cut) . . . . . . . The scene with everyone reaching out to Tifa makes me think of the speech about motivation near the end of the OG. Zangan tries to appeal to her survival urge, Sheiran to her responsibility to others, Barret to her duty to finish what she's started, and Aerith I guess to her friends missing her?, but sometimes those just _aren't enough_ to keep you going in the face of it all. Like Cloud says on the Highwind, you need a powerful, _personal_ reason to fight, which she only gets when she sees Sephiroth taking Cloud away and realizes this is something worth living to protect.
