I was diagnosed with PCOS a few months ago so I was put on metformin. But my periods don't seem too irregular. Sometimes my cycle is 28-35 days depending. Last cycle was like 60+ days which was really odd. I don't have access body hair either so it's like I don't have a lot of the symptoms but still have PCOS.. Been trying for almost 2 years, so hopefully we get pregnant soon with a healthy baby ❤

What is the reason for needing to ovulate before transfer? Like if you think you see an lh surge but didn't actually ovulate and clinic doesn't check and goes ahead with transfer then will the implantation fail? Or are there other risks as to why they do it that way?

Help! I had unprotected *** on may 12 I have irregular periods and in my last period I only had 20 days in my period. So after I had unprotected *** 10 days after that i got a pregnancy test and it was negative then 1 week after that too I got a pt which tested negative too then yesterday may 31 I bought another it was negative also. I got my period when I was really young. I got it at age 8 and it stopped suddenly. Mom and dad wondered what happened and so we went to many doctors. I ended up being put on birth control pills for most of my live. It wasn’t until I was 24 that I decided to stop. My period came naturally until I was put on antidepressants. Since being put on antidepressants. I’ve gained so much weight and I’m back to square one with my period not coming. I’ve tried everything. From drinking fennel tea to taking ginger and vitamin c. Nothing has worked. I feel like I will never have a period again. While I could go back to taking birth control. I’d rather not be on it for another 20+ years later. I just want my period to come naturally.

I am 28 years old and currently have gone through Egg retrieval. At first i didn't feel any pain or discomfort. But after the egg collection day, i started feeling nausea and bloating which was a mild symptom of OHSS. it's been more than 7 days my symptoms have changed to a server OHSS even after taking prescribed medication for 7 days. Since yesterday I am again on the another recovery phase with an injection to ease symptoms of severe OHSS. This has been the most difficult part of IVF but I will surely get over it.

Hello, I'm 13days delayed then spotting occurs for 3 days. then it stopped for a day then light bleeding again. Is it possible that I am pregnant?

Today is May 10th, 2024. My period was supposed to start on May 6th. I only had brown and red spotting when I wiped on May 8th and 9th. Today, I have a little bit of heavier bleeding but not my normal flow. I am an extremely heavy bleeder (I can soak 2 over night pads at times). I had intercourse on the last day of the fertile window, April 22nd. I will test around 2 or so weeks. It’s crazy to see the different stories. Maybe my body is just resetting. I did take a pregnancy test on May 9th and it was negative (not even a faint line). It’s only been 2 weeks since I first had intercourse so I think it may be too early but the process is happening. Will report back in a few weeks.

I’m so confused. I need help to figure this out. I’ve gotten 5 positive pregnancy tests since 11 dpo and now at 15 dpo the day I’m supposed to start my period I’m bleeding pinkish and cramping I took a pregnancy test and it’s a faint positive no idea if this is a period or what wouldn’t it be too late to have implantation bleeding? This is very informative BUT it only covers hysteroscopies done in the OR. For patients having this procedure in an office setting, the experience may be entirely different....the main problem being PAIN and the lack of appropriate analgesia. Many patients find this procedure extremely painful. Many describe it as torture, barbaric and traumatizing. Ask your health provider about pain control if you're told you are having it in an office setting. Women will only have their pain addressed if they INSIST upon it. Good pain control needs to be essential if patients are expected to have this in an office.
