The teleporting from Light Speed/Dark Star using the physical SIM is flawed. Be mindful that if you happen to choose the other network, amd decide to go back to Light Speed/Dark Star, you have to buy a new Light/Dark SIM. I learned ithe hard way. Those SIMS are one time uae only.

Thanks!! It's from the posthumous Virgil Abloh exhibit shown at the Brooklyn Museum last year. Transferring eSIM to physical SIM (or the other way around) is super easy. Go to your account, select the line you want to transfer, and there is a button right there to do it. Just takes a few simple steps. You can't share an Unlimited plan between two lines. In case you wish to share an Unlimited plan, between two lines on the same device (DSDS), on two different networks, you might want to look into our Multi-Network plans! Just call/chat/email, we'll explain it all! :)

Been looking at possibly switching to US Mobile but just a quick question. Original Google Fi used to switch without this level of intervention on the user's part. Why can't that be done here? That would sell me in an instant

Sure, so the thing is that they let you roam on other networks. We let you switch back and forth completely while keeping your plan.

@@USMobileSupport I wondered the same thing. I don’t understand how the Fi network switching (which happens on the fly, as I understand it) is inferior to the teleport feature in USM. The teleport feature can easily take 10 minutes or so to accomplish, and you need to be in WiFi and have a 2nd device available to bring the email up so you can take a pic of the QR code with the phone. Or maybe you can copy/paste the info from the email using 1 device. Regardless, the Fi ability to switch on the fly, invisible to the customer, seems superior to the teleport feature. Unless there’s something about the Fi process I’m not aware of (I’ve never had Fi, so perhaps it’s more involved than I know). Regardless, Fi is now TMo only so USM stands alone with the ability to use and switch between the 3 major networks, regardless how easy or difficult the process may be. And I still value that feature, being about 2 months into my USM experience.

Is this the new TelePortal feature? I currently have the pSIM Warp 5G, does that mean I can switch to GSM 5G while keeping the existing pSIM? My phone doesn't support eSIM by the way.

Yep! It's a new feature. It's okay if it doesn't support an eSIM, you can simply switch to the GSM 5G SIM card, however, before attempting that do reach out to the CS at [email protected] to confirm whether you have the new SIM card for GSM 5G or not. This feature only works with the new and upgraded GSM 5G SIM cards that we released back in October'23.

I tried to unlock a Kroger Wireless NUU F4L following the video. It didn't work. The phone hasn't been used since 2021. It doesn't have wireless service and Kroger Wireless no longer supports it. I called Kroger W customer support and the agent told me all their phones are automatically unlocked if out of service more than 1 year. After following the instructions on the video I I got a message on the phone saying the phone is locked ) I´ll try the procedure again to get exact wording of the messages. So maybe that Kroger 1 year unlocking policy wasn't in effect yet at the time the phone had been out of service for 1 year_

The steps are the same, the only difference is that at 0:28 select the tab on the right named GSM (it won't ask you for IMEI) and proceed to enter the number on the white SIM card.

I've got a solid green battery icon. But the receptor tower icon to the right of the battery icon is solid red. I have no service indicator lines. When I listen to my phone, it has a continuous "beep, beep, beep" noise. The US Mobile rep that I have on chat at your US Mobile website has assured me that the phone will work in about three to four hours. I'm not ready to start calling as soon as the phone setup is complete. When I tried to scan the QR code, I was sent to the mobile US Mobile site and asked to start the sign-up process all over again. There were no other choices. When your company tells users how to do something, you should always test it to make sure the directions are accurate and operating according to directions. This is a common error with businesses - not testing consumer directions.
