Agreed. Wouldn’t hurt to throw a couple hard mount shots of logos. This was one of a few social media videos I made for them so it wasn’t quite as important and the main thing was just to emphasize the lifestyle aspects, but if it was to be ran as an ad, I think that would definitely be an important addition. I appreciate the feedback! Always improving!

Really beautiful. Sold my Bmpcc 4k during the pandemic but I'm buying a 6k G2. The look and feel of these cameras are unique. I missed that.

Thank you! Totally agree. I recently got a Komodo which I love, but there is something just super nice and creamy about the bmpcc footage and it’s a dream to work with in davinci. Komodo has an amazing look, but for certain projects I’d rock the bmpcc for sure

Nah not for this one. I believe this was just a basic rec 709 conversion, then I just played around with the colors until I found something that I liked, then added some grain.

I just got it on EBay, there are a ton of them on there. I’d just suggest getting one in “Mint” condition. So search “Helios 44-2 mint” and you should be able to find one

Thank you! I’ve been using the bmpcc 6k pro for a long time as my main camera, and having it stripped down I knew it would be good for a fun and gun style. I just got the Komodo so I wanted to see what it could do and my buddy had the a7iv and he’s most comfortable with it

Wow! Really nice. Getting some Paris Texas vibes. Did you get a metabones for the lens? And what was your grading process like?

Thanks! No betabones. The lens is meant for a 16mm film camera so it works well with the bmpcc and bmmcc of sensors, just has a little vignetting. Grading process varies a lot depending on the video, for this I just went for a 16mm film type of look. Some grain, halation, slight blur, then just getting the colors to look pretty natural for the environment. I’m not a colorist so I just try to keep it simple for the most part.
