This lens wouldn’t work on a super 35 size sensor/film. There would be a big crop. It’s meant for 16mm film, the bmpcc og has a super 16 but still sees a little vignetting on the wider end

@ you would need a super 16 body or crop. The blackmagic OG works as is, blackmagic 4k has a super 16 mode, I think the 6k might as well. It’s a cool lens but definitely limits the cameras you can use. Super Takumar is a more convenient option

The Meteor 5-1 looks so good. Do you know how to adapt it to BMPCCs with EF Mount? I read in the Manual that the 2.7k windowed sensor Mode is for 16mm Lenses.

OG is a 1080 super 16 sensor so no crop necessary aside from a slight zoom in post if you want to remove the slight vignette. Bmpcc 4k and up does require crop and yes I believe the 2.7k is the best option. RAF makes a good adapter

For this one I basically just threw filmbox’s super 16 effect on it then fine tuned. I’ll make a tutorial at some point about my normal process and preset recommendations

100% agree, full version of filmbox is $1000 so I just used the trial for this grade and it limits exports to 1080…

Graded manually at first then decided to try out the look so I just took an export, converted it to log, then through on the film box free version. That's why it's only in 1080p. Unfortunately, by the looks of it KZbin's compression is absolutely killing the vibes haha

Agreed. Wouldn’t hurt to throw a couple hard mount shots of logos. This was one of a few social media videos I made for them so it wasn’t quite as important and the main thing was just to emphasize the lifestyle aspects, but if it was to be ran as an ad, I think that would definitely be an important addition. I appreciate the feedback! Always improving!

Really beautiful. Sold my Bmpcc 4k during the pandemic but I'm buying a 6k G2. The look and feel of these cameras are unique. I missed that.

Thank you! Totally agree. I recently got a Komodo which I love, but there is something just super nice and creamy about the bmpcc footage and it’s a dream to work with in davinci. Komodo has an amazing look, but for certain projects I’d rock the bmpcc for sure

Nah not for this one. I believe this was just a basic rec 709 conversion, then I just played around with the colors until I found something that I liked, then added some grain.
