@VidyPotdar2 ай бұрын
When selecting a university for your postdoc, first look at the research they’re doing in your field and see if it aligns with your interests. You’ll also want to consider the reputation of the supervisor and the lab you’ll be working with. Funding is another big factor-make sure there’s enough support for your research. And don’t forget location! It should be a place where you’ll be happy living for a couple of years. All the best!

Namaste! That’s wonderful that you’ve completed your masters in botany. If you’re interested in pursuing PhD in Australia, you’ll need to first find a good supervisor who is working in your area of interest. Check university websites for available PhD projects, prepare a strong research proposal, and make sure you meet the English language requirements. All the best for your PhD journey!

How to identify if anyone adultrates the liquid in the process
@VidyPotdar2 ай бұрын
Hey! Great question. While blockchain helps track the wine-making process and can flag inconsistencies, there’s always a risk of adulteration if the supply chain is weak. To handle this, many use digital twin systems, ensuring the physical wine bottle and its digital record match. If someone tampers with the product, it will be detected. Another interesting approach is using chemical fingerprinting. When a bottle is packed, its unique chemical fingerprint is stored on the blockchain. Later, if someone tries to adulterate it, this fingerprint won’t match. When the bottle is opened, a sample can be tested to ensure the chemical fingerprint is still within an acceptable range. Some bottles even have tamper-proof caps, making it easier to spot any interference!

Hello Sir, I saw your videos and I like them a lot, sir. I would request you to make a video on transcripts like what is the transcript how are they different from mark sheets and certificates and how can a student get transcripts from their concerned college or university?
@VidyPotdar2 ай бұрын
Thank you for your kind words and for watching my videos! I appreciate your suggestion and will definitely consider making a video on transcripts. To briefly answer your questions: What is a transcript? A transcript is an official record of your academic performance, listing the courses you have completed, the grades you received, and sometimes other academic achievements during your studies. Difference between a transcript, mark sheets, and certificates: A mark sheet typically shows the grades for individual semesters or years, while a transcript provides a cumulative record of your entire academic journey. Certificates, on the other hand, are issued to confirm that you have completed a degree or course, but they do not provide detailed information about the individual grades. How to get a transcript? Most universities and colleges offer transcripts through their student services or registrar's office. The process varies by institution, but it usually involves filling out a request form and paying a small fee. Some universities also provide online services for transcript requests. I'll work on putting together a video with more details soon! Thanks again for your suggestion!

Hello, I am a fourth-year student in the Department of Pathological Analysis. I have a graduation project that I don’t know what to do. Can you help me with this topic A bacterial study of urinary tract infections associated with vitamin D3 deficiency patients
@VidyPotdar3 ай бұрын
For your systematic literature review (SLR) on "A bacterial study of urinary tract infections associated with vitamin D3 deficiency," you can use either the **PICO** or **SPIDER** framework to guide your research. PICO Framework: The PICO framework is widely used in clinical and health-related research for structuring systematic reviews, especially when comparing interventions or treatments. It stands for: - P (Population/Problem): The group of people or patients being studied. In your case, this could be patients with vitamin D3 deficiency and urinary tract infections (UTIs). - I (Intervention): The treatment or factor being studied. This could be vitamin D3 supplementation or the presence of vitamin D3 deficiency. - C (Comparison): The control or alternative intervention, such as comparing patients with vitamin D3 deficiency to those with normal vitamin D3 levels. - O (Outcome): The results or outcomes being measured, such as the incidence, severity, or recurrence of UTIs. The PICO framework is typically used for quantitative research where there are clear comparisons or interventions. PICO Research Questions: 1. What bacterial pathogens are most prevalent in urinary tract infections (UTIs) among patients with vitamin D3 deficiency? - This question examines the types of bacteria involved in UTIs among patients with vitamin D3 deficiency, focusing on identifying the pathogens. 2. Can vitamin D3 supplementation reduce the incidence or severity of UTIs in patients diagnosed with vitamin D3 deficiency? - This question investigates whether supplementing vitamin D3 leads to a measurable decrease in UTI incidence or severity, looking at the effect of the intervention. SPIDER Framework: The SPIDER framework is often used for qualitative or mixed-method systematic reviews. It provides flexibility in structuring research questions that explore experiences, patterns, and relationships, rather than just interventions. It stands for: - S (Sample): The group being studied, similar to Population in PICO. For your project, this could be patients with UTIs and vitamin D3 deficiency. - P (Phenomenon of Interest): The focus of the research, such as the relationship between vitamin D3 deficiency and UTIs, or bacterial profiles. - D (Design): The type of studies or research being reviewed, which could include observational studies, case studies, or clinical trials. - E (Evaluation): The outcomes or experiences being evaluated, such as the effectiveness of vitamin D3 supplementation or bacterial infection patterns. - R (Research Type): The type of research being reviewed, whether it’s qualitative, quantitative, or mixed methods. The SPIDER framework is suitable for more exploratory research, especially when focusing on patient experiences, qualitative data, or non-interventionist studies. SPIDER Research Questions: 1. How does the bacterial composition of UTIs differ in patients with and without vitamin D3 deficiency? - This question explores whether there are notable differences in the bacterial strains or infections in patients with varying vitamin D3 levels, without focusing on direct intervention. 2. What are the observed trends in UTI-related complications among patients with vitamin D3 deficiency compared to those with sufficient levels of the vitamin? - This explores observed trends in complications, focusing on patterns of severity or recurrence based on vitamin D3 status, using data from observational or mixed-methods studies. - PICO is best for systematic reviews that involve comparisons (e.g., deficient vs. non-deficient patients) and interventions (e.g., vitamin D3 supplementation). - SPIDER is ideal for more flexible, qualitative, or mixed-method research that explores broader patterns, trends, or experiences (e.g., bacterial composition differences, trends in UTI complications). By using either PICO or SPIDER, you can approach your SLR in a structured way that best fits your research goals. You can select the framework that aligns with your focus-whether it's an intervention-based analysis with PICO, or a more exploratory and qualitative review with SPIDER. One more thing to add to it is that these research questions are hypothetical because I do not have experience in this field. You can always brainstorm more and come up with better research questions by reviewing existing SLR papers published on these topics. I hope this is helpful, thank you.

I am from India. I did masters in physics and education. Can you give me an advice which area has better scope as i want to pursue my phd from Australia. And also please tell me is it necessary to had two research papers before applying for PhD in australia.
@VidyPotdar3 ай бұрын
Hey so both physics and education can have good opportunities for a PhD in Australia it really depends on what you are more passionate about and where you see yourself long term In physics there’s a lot of cutting-edge research happening in areas like quantum computing renewable energy and space technology. If you’re into experiments and pushing boundaries of science this could be a great field with strong future prospects Plus Australia has some great universities with strong physics departments On the other hand if you’re more into education and research about learning systems teacher training or education policy there’s also demand for that especially with a global focus on improving education systems. You could end up shaping future education practices which is pretty cool too As for having two research papers before applying it’s not a strict requirement everywhere in Australia Some universities or supervisors may look for research experience but it doesn’t have to be two papers specifically You could show your research potential in other ways like a strong research proposal or related work experience It’s always a good idea to contact potential supervisors and ask about their specific requirements Good luck with your decision Hope this helps! Hello, may I know what you think of the fixed-term part-time (17.5 hours per week) postdoc?
@VidyPotdar3 ай бұрын
Thank you very much for asking this question. It is really an interesting one because I have not received such a question before. A fixed term part-time postdoc at 17.5 hours a week could actually be a pretty great setup depending on what you're after. The good part is the balance you’ll get. With half the hours you've got more time for personal projects, side gigs or just relaxing more. If you've got family or other work commitments or just wanna focus on some hobbies it could fit really well. You’re still getting all the benefits of a postdo like building your network and getting experience but without it totally taking over your life. On the other hand things might move a little slower since you're working fewer hours so it might take a bit longer to hit your research goals like publishing or finishing projects. And part-time usually means a smaller paycheck, which could be a factor depending on your situation. But honestly if you're not in a rush and like the idea of balancing research with everything else going on it could really work for you. I hope this helps you too make your decision.

Sir i don't have any access on Scopus and webof science. So can you suggest me how can i get published my SLR paper in Scopus journals
@VidyPotdar3 ай бұрын
Hi Shweta Thank you very much for your question. Let me take this opportunity to answer your question. See n China ot having access to Scopus or Web of Science definitely doesn’t mean you can’t publish in a Scopus-indexed journal. It’s a common misconception. Scopus is great for finding research, but it’s not necessary for submitting your own work. You can still get your SLR published even if you can’t access those databases directly. First off, finding the right journal is key. You can search for Scopus-indexed journals online, and there are free resources available like the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ). If you’re part of a university or research institution, they might offer access to these databases through their library. Now, just because you don’t have Scopus access doesn’t mean you can’t find relevant papers. Google Scholar is a fantastic alternative, and you can even reach out to authors directly on ResearchGate yeah or via email-they’re often happy to share their work. And remember, databases like PubMed or IEEE Xplore are equally good for accessing peer-reviewed research. The important thing is to ensure your methodology is solid. As long as your search strategy, selection criteria, and research organization are clear and well-structured, not having Scopus won’t hold you back. The rigor of your approach is what truly matters. If you know someone who does have access to Scopus, teaming up with them could help fill in any gaps in your literature review. Collaboration is always a good option. When it comes to submitting your SLR paper, just make sure you choose a Scopus-indexed journal that aligns with your topic and follow their submission guidelines closely. You might also want to share your work on a preprint server or repository before submitting to get some visibility. At the end of the day, not having access to Scopus doesn’t mean you can’t publish in a Scopus journal. It’s all about being resourceful and using the tools and networks you have available. You’ve got this! I hope this is helpful. If you have any further questions, please message me back and I’ll be very happy to help you out. Thank you very much and enjoy researching. 😊😊

@VidyPotdar3 ай бұрын
You have a very good score. I would suggest that once you have the other two articles published, you can start preparing a for your scholarship application, which will make it even stronger. Most university scholarship applications have already closed, so you can prepare for next year when the scholarships open around June or July. Keep an eye on the universities you specifically want to apply to, as you'll need to check their scholarship opening dates. In the meantime, you can also prepare a strong research proposal to enhance your chances of securing a scholarship. Remember, it's not just your profile or publications that matter, but also the strength of your research proposal and how well it aligns with the university's research directions. Another thing you can do is check the strategic research plan for the university to see what research areas they are interested in. I hope this helps you prepare your application effectively. If you have any further questions, please feel free to comment again. Thank you.

If you have an unconditional offer and u have been accepted as conditional acceptance How many days will it take for CoE to come after meeting all the conditions? I am waiting for that COE over a month.. If u have an offer letter, can the CoE be rejected or can I term this process as fake? It cannot be fake but university is taking so long for CoE
@VidyPotdar4 ай бұрын
You cannot have an unconditional offer with conditions on it. So I guess you have a conditional offer where the conditions may be meeting English criteria or providing your transcripts or whatever it may be. If All the conditions are met the issuance of CoE will depends on the University timeline on how long it takes to issue the CoE. There Could be few reasons for this delay. University typically have monthly meetings where they assess all the applications that they have to assess and report back. You may have narrowly missed that timeline and your application is probably in the next round so it may take two months. If you think this is not the case then maybe you can reach out to the University admission department and ask them about the progress of your application and when would you expect to receive the CoE.
