My husband is applying for phd. But 2 months ago, the last mail came to the professors . After that no mail came. Now what do I do? I have been liaising with the industry partner and they have a new project opportunity coming up so I am waiting on them to find out exactly what the scope of that project is and then I can let you know, Kind regards

You can send a reminder email to follow up and see if the professor had received any update from the industry partner. Also remember that Professor received many emails from potential PhD applicants so on occasions we may lose track of all we were talking with. so it is a good idea to send a follow-up email and asked for any progress. Thanks
