what are the disc's made of? some makes wears off quickly! i thinks it's made from iron
@AgriSupplyCo14 күн бұрын
Hey there @peugeot_air thanks for watching! The blade materials really depend on the manufacturer and types of discs you intended on using in the field. If you find they are wearing out too quickly, it might be a problem with the diameter or type of blade you are using in the soil. You can check out all our tillage & blade items right here at www.agrisupply.com/disc-tillage-tools-blades-sweeps/c/4500000 Have a great day!

so something like an on demand water heater would be low pressure?
@AgriSupplyCo14 күн бұрын
Specifically speaking of an on demand water heater, more than likely yes - but we would recommend checking the manual to be sure. You must have enough gas pressure to meet the demands of a tankless heater. If the pressure does drop and you are putting a demand on the water heater which could affect it's output. Thanks for your comment & checking out the channel! Happy Holidays!

Good Morning! Wanted to reach back out about your question. In regards to the tires, really cant tell you per say the biggest tire to go with because there are a few other factors that will change the dimensions needed for your wheels. We would recommend checking with John Deere so they can tell you 100% the match you are looking for. Based on specs from John Deere, however, we do not carry that particular size in either front or back tires currently. Here are the specs from the manufacture if helpful below. Appreciate you taking the time to reach out, thanks! Front Tires: Two 22.5 x 10-8 4 PR all-terrain on steel wheels OR Two 22.5 x 10-8 4 PR turf on steel wheels Rear Tires: Four 25 x 13-9 4 PR all-terrain on steel wheels OR Four 25 x 12-9 4PR turf on steel wheels

What makes the rope wick move to take outbweeds?
@AgriSupplyCo5 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching! This particular rope applicator is just hand-held and you brush it across your garden sections where you want to remove weeds. You would soak the rope sections in herbicides then apply it by walking up and down your rows. We also carry an ATV model as well for larger fields. You can see all the models we carry on our website here: www.agrisupply.com/wick-applicators/c/4200053/

Appreciate your patience - Our team has let me know that we recommend replacing the entire tank unfortunately. We couldn't say with total confidence that it wouldn't still leak by simply trying to replace the fitting, and even more so since it's located on the bottom of the unit & would be heavy once you add-in any liquids. If you need any other info on the Fimco sprayers we sell, please visit the site: www.agrisupply.com/ag-lawn-sprayers/c/4200110/ Or give us a call anytime! Thanks Clifford.

Does the spider work well on thick weeds or sod, does it have to be tilled before using spider
@AgriSupplyCo6 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching! We would recommend you run through the soil at least a couple times (preferably cross directionally once up/down and once side to side) to pull out any really thick weeds. The spider gangs are primarily used to help cultivate the soil by loosing it up, and providing those rows you will be need before planting. If you have compacted soil/sod using a disc harrow or s-tines first might be a good idea to really loosen it up prior to the spider gangs going down. Let us know if we can help with anything else!

What regulator would you recommend for a crawfish burner. 0-30 or 0-40 PSI.
@AgriSupplyCo7 ай бұрын
Thanks for your question ReaperDawg! Typically if you are frying you'll want to have a higher PSI to your burner output and lower is acceptable if you are doing something like a low country/seafood boil. We recommend you check the manual for your crawfish burner first just to be sure, but if you are in need of a replacement regulator hose we can have our team look over the burner you have, and suggest a specific item number. Feel free to reach out to us directly at 800.345.0169. Have a great day!

Thank you again Sir, your videos are very helpful. Can you possibly estimate how long discs and bearings are are good for before they need replacing?
@AgriSupplyCo7 ай бұрын
Appreciate your comments & for taking the time to watch our video! To answer your question - there is really no true "one size fits all" approach to how long your blades will last. As Keul mentioned above, it will often depend on the performance itself and just carefully watching how the blades are cutting into the soil. Many factors will effect your blade's lifecycle such as outdoor elements/weathering, how often they would be used and the types of soil (heavy/rock versus softer/sandy). We generally recommend if your original size is diminished by 10 to 15% then it's probably time to replace those worn out blades. Hope this was helpful, have a great day!

Working on mine now. With new parts from agri supply. Mine is good and used. How did you get the bearing bolts out and on? They’re so tight to the next disc? Thanks! Also, how much play should there be on the axle? I have a 1” square axle, bought 1” axle 18” (double punch).
@AgriSupplyCo7 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching & your question! We agree that the bearing bolts can be tough to get out. This video was a little tricky cause we used a newer harrow that had not seen much action yet in the field! We highly suggest a day before you plan to remove your blades or parts, spray down those sections with a good penetrating oil to help lubricate the area you will be working on. Hope this helps! If you have any other specific questions, feel free to reach out to our Customer Care Center at 800.345.0169

Is it correct that adjusting the gang angle will not change the working width of the harrow since the outside discs are the "pivot" of the adjustment and stationary? I have a 79" inch wide tractor, wondering if an 80" disk will cover my tracks in every gang angle.

Hi there @pr0pman, appreciate your question! We would suggest looking for the number cast into the body of the cross section. If that doesn't provide the answer to your question, the first number in the number cast into the yokes should also be the series. If that doesn't work, we recommend measuring & comparing the size.
