No es una cancion de alegria es un lamento y una crítica social a la dura vida de los esclavos africanos en las plantaciones de platanos en parte de America, Jamaica, Cuba, etc. En su letra Harry menciona los elementos cotidianos en la vida del esclavo. El ron, las alimañas que aparecian durante la recoleccion, los capataces y mas. Durante siglos fueron explotados.😢😢
