Th end of Wyoming! Thanks for all that footage as you made your way through the state--gave me a much better picture of what Wyoming looks like. Excited for Idaho (where I have been a bit), and Montana!

Old Faithful looked super-impressive. But all those people! Geez! That would freak me out.

100 days! You are such an inspiration. Most I have ever done is 12 (Alaska), and the most mileage in one day I have done is 18! (Olympic NP). Really impressive in Yellowstone. I had never even heard of Lone Star geyser.

Wow, are you wearing a 10-15 lb weight vest? Even during your sprints? So, for 12 mile at zone 2 what is your time. 1.5 hrs?

Very pretty section. Is that a patch on the tent? Such a great growing tramily.
@peterfontaine46275 күн бұрын
You really do have an incredible trail family. It is very obvious through all the episodes that you are hiking the miles and meeting all the challenges so well together. I hope I have a tramily as tight as that when my time comes.

Mike, my sincerest congratulations on your PCT Thru Hike. I would also like you to know, I have watched every video of your CDT, AT, and PCT hikes. Thank you for taking me on your journeys.

I agree. South to north is the proper thru hike. This is based on the scenery.

Haven't carried bear spray since my trip to Arctic--but soon we will need it in the North Cascades if the re-introduction goes as planned (2025-26). Have been meaning to buy UR Sacks for a long time.

I can’t wear zero drop shoes because of an old Achilles injury. I love their wide foot box but my Achilles does not do well. Does anyone know of a wide foot box that is more conventional in heal lift? Thanks

Hey Mike - Do you plan on doing an epilogue? Would be cool to hear your reflections a month or more after this has sunk in, including how your gear and other decisions panned out. Seems like you made all the right decisions with this adventure!

Mike--Exciting to see you back in the high country. Interested to see how you navigate grizzly country. The North Cascades here in WA will be grizzly country again starting in 2025 if all goes according to plan.

Excellent video! I’m wondering how the tent worked for you on the CDT and if you still recommend it. I’m thinking about buying it for my CDT hike. Also, will you be doing a post trail gear review video?
@oldmanandtheat309320 күн бұрын
My Duplex worked great. I did have to sew one zipper shut and sew a new zipper in on the other side (See zero day in Pie Town episode). But, after all, the tent was on its third Thru-hike. I used the same tent on the PCT and AT. The fabric held up well.

@@oldmanandtheat3093 Awesome! Thank you so much. I used a Big Agnes Tigerwall on the AT and PCT. It worked great but I am trying to lighten my load for the CDT.

Congratulations Mike!! I've watched every step. People "claim" the AT is an easy walk through the woods. That statement couldn't be further from the truth! What a great accomplishment, and success. I appreciate every moment of your journey.
