Never forget, it's allways a good thing to clear your mind and talk to a departed loved one the rush of memories of the past soothes the heart and soul plus can declutter your mind. Yes, they are no longer here, but they are in your heart forever.

I think we all miss Nikki’s laugh and her giving Chet a hard time. We obviously didn’t know her, but we felt like we did a bit and enjoyed her light they shined. I’m sorry that this hole in your life is still so painful. As a combat veteran on this pain all too well. Memorial Day, anniversaries of men who were family to me, not coming home is always…so raw and painful. Seeing their families at the memorials enduring the toughest pain (in my opinion) and their kids heart broken is…well it’s something that helps me relate to your pain. I appreciate you guys for what’s that’s worth. Oh also I’m crashing Doug’s funeral and playing thunderstruck for him.

Nikki is sure missed by all. Amy the Cemetery is a beautiful place peaceful too. I live walking in ours cleaning around stones picking up wind blowing silk flowers. Lots of loved ones family names there ,gone before me. It's not a sad place. But a place for His saints to rest as they return to our heavenly home.

Thanks for another great video Amy and Dougo. It was interesting and informative and enjoyable. Very nice video today with a variety of subjects. First you nice discussions about the cemetery. I must admit I enjoy visiting my loved ones in the cemetery for a prayer or a few words. You talked about preparing for this ahead of time. I have done that and have a burial lot already and designs for the headstone and all that. Being I am a veteran myself I will be placed in the Veterans Cemetery, a place of honor. Thanks for your discussion on this. Is important for people to do this ahead of time. Thanks for talking about Nicole. All of us who have been with you for a while remember her very well. What a super person she was. She is missed by all of us. Blessings to Nicole. Field drain tile. Hard job for Dougo by himself. But everyone is busy planting and such. Looked like you were getting it done Dougo. Nice work. Lawn mower seat. Yeah for you Amy getting the rackets strap off the seat. You did good Amy. Time to mow the yard now. Take care. This has been a lovely day with you and Dougo. I did want to mention the wonderful flags and displays setup for veterans in your cemetery. Being a veteran myself, I sincerely appreciate seeing those displays done out of respect for veterans. I served 26 years in uniform all over the world. My blessings to them all. You and Doug take care. Enjoyed today with you both. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.

Hi Amy and Doug Where your name is on the head stone is in relation to what side of the bed you slept on. Well in Australia that’s how it works. Thank goodness we don’t get a lot of experience in this matter. Regards from Tasmania

We had a Study by Dr. David Jeremiah entitled "Heaven". It was a very good study with a video every week. You might be interested in it. (Our senior group studied the book along with the videos.) It bothers me that many Christian people are deciding against having a memorial service or funeral. In fact, today we had our windup BBQ with hamburgers and salads. One of the group members sang the hymn with his wife, "He the Pearly Gates will Open" at a member's service about 2 years ago. Evelyn was a dear old soul who had had a stroke. Her husband is well into his 90's. Nicole was a wonderful person. Chet must be torn at this time of the year. It makes it tough on Chet along with his new wife.

There still is time, the only real thing in this world that is free, is Salvation. Jesus knows haw to forgive, just believe. The carnage in the garden is a real thing. Adam went along with it. Dougo and AC/DC Thunderstruck is busting me up. and I also loved the Flags.

Nicole was full of life, now she enjoys the fullness of life with God, who is the answer to every hope, dream, the answer to all our desires and the love that fills our being. On another note, they usually put the man on the left because most men sleep on that side of the bed.

Awesome video. Thanks for sharing and I can't believe it's been 3 years already. Thanks for filming Doug do his repair. The constant video vs clips shows more of how things are done. Very cool. Also the yard looks awesome. You guys enjoy, looks like paradise.
@kevinklingner77129 сағат бұрын
This in my opinion was one of your best chats so far. Your take on paradise and what it means is correct. Paradise is where God placed Adam and Eve when he created them it was his garden that he placed them to live in and care from everything in. The carnage you as call it was exactly that. Every relationship there was wrecked and destroyed by the fall into sin nothing was untouched by it.Even today we about and suffer under the effects of it. The reference to the repentant thief on the cross is.an important one..jesus tells him "Today you will be with in paradise". God in his wisdom has a new and better paradisewe will.live in when we go to him it even has the tree of life in it but not the of knowledge of good and evil. He also tells us there is a miraculous tree which bares a different fruit each month of the year. With these glimpses of heaven is is a place.to desire to be because it is.our true home and we truly desire and long to be there with our very being.. I don't do this very often but I think on it a lot and long for it because of the knowledge of pure joy that it will be to live there and the knowledge that loved one's will be there.

Almost every Sunday in the month of May in the south (Tennessee) there is what we call decoration Sunday where flowers are placed on the graves in the cemeteries. Different cemeteries have their decoration on a certain Sunday. Where my family is buried it is the third Sunday in May.

In Canada we celebrate Rememberce day, November 11th to honor our veterans and those who lost their lives to the wars. Most stores are closed and the children do not go to school on that day. Stores can only sell milk and bread until 11:00 am. I do also miss Nicole. RIP.
