Interesting boat but your videos are always more interesting when the boat you are filming is actually crewed and moving. Love your videos of boats manoeuvring before and after Poole Bridge openings.

Not knowing Poole harbour at all, why are so many boats leaving at once. Are they just cruising in company or are they bunched up having been held up by tide, lock gates, bridges or whatever.

Hi, the reason for it, there is an inner Marina called Cobb’s Quay with two lifting bridges, the bigger boats have to wait for hourly bridge lifts, you can in the height of summer have 30+ boats going out on the hour at each lift and the same returning after a days boating.

Starboard hung fenders were too low to the water to effectively prevent damage to the slip adjacent sailboat, were the 2 vessels to have connected.

We had jobs to do this weekend, consequently we were unable to go boating on 'Shakti' so took it as an opportunity to see everyone else going out, there is a picture on the community board of me scrubbing the usual summer growth off 'Shakti' on Saturday afternoon.
