Yarmouth Harbour (Isle of Wight) Sept 2024

How sad to see Yarmouth now it is a marina not a harbour any more. I worked as a berthing master in the early two thousands but left when there were few visitors who knew how to tie up a boat or were even coming in on a boat they owned or cared about. What ever happened to real yachtsmen?

There are a lot of Sports Cruisers their these days, I like to take Shakti as its a great Marina but more in Winter time as its so busy and lots of rafting in the summer time.
