This is an interview format that works so well for Big Thief. The interviewer guides them to open up and love on each other. It's so endearing. I love this.

What a truly annoying answer to a simple question. What did you mean within regards to the song? Seriously, as much as I enjoy the song, she takes herself too seriously and believes she’s some ground breaking “artist”. She’s neither of those things and she’ll be forgotten quicker than it took to write these lyrics.

I know Brian's Sister Stephenie. She is a beautiful soul who has Cerabal Palsy. We became good friends because I picked Stephenie and her husband Kurt up on a city bus on a daily basis. My name is John and I am a bus driver in Milwaukee and I can honestly say that Stephenie misses her brother Brian. He will understand what I am saying.

One of the history books on Milwaukee mentioned that there were frequent fights (this would probably be in the late 20s or early 30s) between teens in Piggsville and Merrill Park, and even mentioned my uncle Eddie as being one of the Merrill Park fighters.

Exactly how much detail and sidetracks are you expecting from a friggin' four-minute short? Temper your expectations, buddy, and chill out. Try his longer-form material.

I was a kid growing up in the Bay View area in the 1950's. I attended Bay View High School and graduated in 1967. About a year later I was drafted into the army, spent close to 15 months in Vietnam. After returning home, the city was changing rapidly, gang bangers, neighborhoods were becoming run down and I no longer felt safe at night while on the streets. In 1976 my wife and I moved north along the Lake Shore. We live in a small town, it has some problems but nothing compared to the big city. Mr. Gurda I enjoy your videos, they bring back a lot of good memories.
