Just caught my very 1st legal Halibut in Seal Beach using hookup bait....yayyy!!!!!

I have tried different colors at La Jolla kayaking for 4+ years and by far #1 is the chovy. 3 ounce, 6" catches the biggest. I saw this video and ordered some 1.5 ounce mint. They had better get me some results. 6/25/2024 caught 4.35 pounds 21 inch Bocaccio and a 15.5 inch sand bass. More other fish but those were the biggest.

I've been killing the spotties on my kayak all up and down Shelter Island with Hookup Baits the last couple weeks. Even got a giant bat ray that ate your baits, was kind of bummed when I got him up to where I could release him, and he broke me off taking my double rig with him. Hope to see you out there some time. I've learned a lot from your videos.
