So it's a mystery about the arrival of the nagas in India itself. This is so because the history of Naga culture has been passed down through word of mouth like folktales, stories and songs. Written history is non-existent because we never had a particular text or language in the past so to pinpoint the beginning of Naga settlement is impossible. I can see some people saying, that Northeast Indians are forced to be Indians. To be clear, India is very(Extremely) diverced in terms of population. People from almost all religions can be found in India. People from different culture live together(Unlike China, demolished Arab styled mosque to protect their culture) People from various ethnicity etc. If all religions would demand a separate nation or all people of different ethnicity would demand for a separate nation, this will divide my mother land into hundreds of pieced. That's why it's illegal to demand for a separate nation. India will soon regain our lost land from Pakistan and China PoK and Aksai Chin respectively.
