I guess everybody forgot about World War I and World War II and so on and so forth. And they also forgot all of the forefathers who fought in the Civil War to free the slaves. And Abraham Lincoln was assassinated basically gave his life freeing the slaves. But nobody cares about that

Now the league only promotes next gen stats, gambling, and WRs doing the griddy lol… since everything is tailored to high scoring… the receiver and QB are not able to get touched, hit, nor tackled with a flag being thrown.

So then empty the arenas. You can’t expect anything more than what you get these days. Everybody feels that they have skin in the game and feel the need to talk in the form of “we”. Players talking trash has simply moved to the fans stands, radio hosts and now the internet. What are they going to do? People disrespect each other every where every day. Why would these athletes be treated any differently? Because they make a lot of money? Because they are famous? These same guys will go on a podcasts and talk trash about other athletes and then complain when someone talks trash about them. Make it make sense. Add gambling to the equation and you get what you get. No one is respectful any more but everyone believes that they deserve to be respected. You even have former athletes yelling at players on the court to the point of potentially fighting (Shannon Sharpe). The toothpaste has long been out of the tube.

This interview was AMAZING and I needed this!! I have already been on the path of "meeting people where they are" and its surely been a struggle. "Let them" makes it even simpler and im gonna use the 5 secs technique as well. Fred, I too cried at the beginning of this yr. So CHEERS to a good 2025 for us and anyone else "releasing" now so we can smile later!!!

Gilbert has mastered how to control the room. At moments I didn’t realize he was on a podcast interview. It felt like he was just telling stories to an audience or me personally as a listener.

18:00 we would play in my friends backyard and it would always be a lot of us running 3s and 4s half court and I would always pick the worst teammates because there were other guys either as good or better than me and they would team up but I wanted that challenge not necessarily of doing it by myself but to be able to say I beat yall with these guys as a hooper this is necessary you aint always gonna start out on stacked AAU teams and shit u gotta grind it out and be put in them scenarios
