I dont think its augustus since augustus in the game already looks pretty old, and Alex here looks in his 40s-50s, Alex in the events of garbage island its confirmed to be in his late 60s so yeah, i dont even think he'd be alive if he was the homeless man.

45:03 Probably a coincidence, but this guy humping the trash looks alot like Augustus Estrada (the guy who paints the mural of The City on Garbage Island). Somewhat similar facial structure (eyes and unique eyebrows), graying hair, similar skintone, and even an affinity for Trash.

@@friedfish2180 I compared both 1x1 sprites of those character and they are the same. Plus we can't use argument of Time in Lisa cuz Time don't works normally after the flash. Also Garageman Alex part takes place few years or even two before the flash thanks to a men who is having his speech of the end of the world.

I seriously hope this gets finished someday. Really, I do. It would be a goddamn shame if this whole project turned out to be the "Barkley 2" of the LISA fandom. And maybe, in the hypothetical bad future where it DOESN'T get finished. I would love if Ed would release the design doc for it, so maybe the fans can pick up where he left off.

@@CJ-lr4uq It's literally happened before, many times. Many, many times. Sometimes, indie game devs get too ambitious with the scope of their projects and it tends to come back to bite them later. Buuuuut, I'm confident that the monster update will fall through, judging by the recent teasers.

I appreciate the work, but it's extremely funny that like five years after part one of three released, you announced that, instead of being finished with both parts or even part two, you were remaking the first part to be as good as you _hoped_ the other two would be, when it's already probably the best fan game I've ever seen. Again, this is not criticism, because not only is the wait probably going to be worth it, but it's inspired countless people to make their own games, most of which look amazing, and because of that, I completely understand why seemingly nobody is angry about how long it's taking. DNF this won't be.
