That Stormbox Blast 2 is pretty awesome. I was never interested in Blast1 but the 2 I might pick up. It's a lot more powerful it seems. Gonna see how it performs in comparison to my Boombox 3.

@@Madalinbaiatfin The blast 1 really put Tribit on the map in the world of Bluetooth speakers, it's sound quality and performance for the price is unmatched, the blast 2 expands on that with more power "volume" greater Bass output and higher fidelity ( the tweeters offer improved range) and the lighting feature is the best I've ever seen for customized control...As for my opinion on which is the best, the blast 2 is superior and a spectacular audio device!! The JBL uses AAC Bluetooth codec in the authentics 300 which does give it an enhanced audio playback, but the trip is right behind it you can barely tell the difference on most songs

@@kamleshkhatti5993 All I will say is compared with my Sound Core X600 with spatial audio and my JBL authentics 300 the Stormbox blast 2 has more better extension in the high frequency range than the X600 and tighter Bass control than my JBL... Especially since the firmware update, the sound to me is spectacular, thank you for watching ✌️

@@aaron_varghese The sound quality was good out of the box but now it's even more refined. I noticed that the tweeters are even more transparent and the Bass has a more controlled structure and roll-off. I'll probably post another video showcasing this against one of my other speakers... Sadly, the sound never really transfers correctly through KZbin ✌️

Yes, that race -track design woofer is really effective and the passive bass radiators seem to be more efficient in their movement compared to the original, they're not as stiff

Since you mentioned the Sharp GX-M10, do you still have it? Have you noticed that the aux input and radio sound quite different than the other audio modes? I'm wondering whether there's a specific reason for the disparity in sound quality. Maybe I need to change a setting, or there could be a problem with the hardware.

@@eqrandomfinds Yes, I still have both of my Sharps( the original GX -M10 and BT -9) I think the BT -9 has better fidelity in the sound spectrum, the Bass is not as dominant like it is on the GX -M10... But I have never used the auxiliary input on either of them, but it is reported that the sound output is superior on the BT -9

I had a motion plus then I sold it and bought a Sony XB 43 thinking it would be better, but the sound was somewhat muddy with bass without clarity. Now I sold it again, should I buy the motion plus that now comes with aptxhd or better this marley? I'm looking for something that delivers clearer and more detailed sound.

Depending on your budget and how big of a speaker you're looking for, the Marley is a good choice,it really comes alive at higher volumes without distortion but, for the same money the Tribit stormbox blast can't be beat, I have 18 Bluetooth speakers and the Tribit is in my top 3 next to My JBL authentics 300 and my Fluance fi-50 ( also I just purchased the Sony XG-300 which is reduced in price significantly from its initial pricing of $350, now it's only $199 and I've been impressed with the sound quality especially with LDAC and live sound enabled... I hope this helped you with your next purchase!

@@ealexander9255 I don't like the look of Tribit products. I recently bought a House of Marley Get Together 2 Mini portable speaker which looks great, is made of quality materials and the sound is phenomenal for its size. I recommend you test it if you have the chance.

I don't use the extra bass function on any of my speakers, the Tribit and the Sharp both produce more than adequate Bass response, I prefer a balanced sound quality, thanks for your input.

Why does everyone keep leaving the XBass off the vTribit at the top of the speaker where the buttons are...at the end of the buttons to the right, before the light show button is where the Xbass button is... and its clearly off (not illuminated when activated it glows like the power button on the other end)....with the Xbass on the sharp stands no chance trust me....why...cause I have the older sharp model to the one in the video which shares the same bass and the blast puts it to shame in quality of bass, deepness and overall tone....I see tons of these vids with people keep leaving the Xbass off and I cant understand why...xbass is to be used when doing sound comparisons cause in other speakers like the sharp its already factored in.

I didn't use the extra bass function on either speaker, and I also have both versions of the sharp, the GX m10 and the BT9 you see in this video, I like all my speakers they all have characteristics that I like, I have 16 speakers and they all serve a purpose. I prefer a balanced sound not exaggerated bass notes, I have high-end speakers in my Den and over the years I've owned multiple Hi-fi stereo systems, I'm assuming you're a younger person so I can understand why bass output would be a priority for you when listening to music, but I'm older and the genre of music I play most often is r&b and jazz we're overstated bass notes aren't really required like with rap music and hip hop, thanks for your input though ✌️

@@ealexander9255 I agree with the balanced sound. I'm just wandering if you also own the JVC 1st Gen. Kaboom boombox. I own one and I'm really impressed with it's sound specially the deep {not midd} bass. I would like to hear your comment on it compared to the Sharp.

@@allansoria3478 I did have the original JVC Kaboom back in the day 1996 I believe was when I purchased it, going by memory the Sharp's I own the GX -M10 and the BT9 do play louder and have a slight advantage in bass output 100 watts vs 40 watts for the JVC but the Cool thing about the Kaboom was it's ability to adjust the Bass output and it did deliver a more balanced tonal quality. I upgraded to a Panasonic DT- 707 from the JVC-Kaboom, but in retrospect I wish I would have kept them, they represented an era of innovation we just don't see anymore.

I am now looking at the modern JBL Encore Essential which is now on sale in our country. It has the same deep bass as the Kaboom but I think louder based on reviews. Your thoughts on newer boomboxes .

@@allansoria3478 I think modern day Bluetooth boomboxes are spectacular given their size, the sound quality from modern day speaker materials and the use of bass radiators really provide amazing sound quality (The majority of boomboxes back in the day the mid '80s and early '90s didn't sound as good even though they were much larger) it's a great time to be into music, there are a lot of great options to feel anyone's needs!!

The Sharp GX-BT9 is a spectacular speaker, the Bluetooth version does sound better than the original GX- M10 which I also have, and it does have superior Bass of All of my speakers (16) in all.

Yes... I agree completely, but I have considered buying rechargeable batteries for it. That would be an option I would use, it's more cost effective.

Oh yes I still have it, I don't think we'll ever see achromatic refractors of it's size and quality on a Mount like that for the price... The scope still looks brand new after 7 years of ownership and is a stellar performer!!

The motion Plus do support the Aptx codec for Bluetooth streaming at the higher bit rate you mentioned, I verified this by putting my phone in developer mode and the motion Plus was indeed streaming Aptx at 24 bit while the house of Marley with the SBC codec was at 16 bit rate.I can only assume that the DSP chips used in Bluetooth speakers with the SBC codec improves the sound quality during the processing, I really don't hear any advantages Aptx has over the supposedly inferior SBC codec...I hope this answers your question ✌️

Btw I have never used the 3.5 jack on any of my speakers because the phone I use for Bluetooth streaming is my older but very effective LG V-20 with a Quad-DAC built in. This phones audio capability is even better than my current LG-Wing and the majority of most current smartphone flagships on the market!!

This 31mm it is very good. I paid $250 5 years ago. Today these are at least $300. The stars is so sharp and great contrast on globulars. I only use this is in one of my slow scopes a 10 inch f7 Newtonian dob. It has so good eye relief and I do not decloak it for weight saving. Your Meade 20mm most people say is also very good except the grease under eye guard but I never use one before.

I used mine a couple of nights ago to view the Double Cluster with my Edge HD-8 and the field was spectacular!! I don't use it regularly because of its weight ... Really heavy. But I really do like the images it renders, very Sharp with excellent color.
