To be honest I wasn't counting, it really depends on how long you make the snake. I just kept making more until I was happy with the length. I would estimate between 700 and 800 pieces. Don't let the number of triangles put you off. I hope this helps.

Thank you for the lovey comment. I couldn't tell you how long it took to make, because I don't know. The time consuming part was folding the pieces, the actual construction only took a few hours.

It has the base of 12 and uses 84 pink, 84 grey, 48 black, 120 yellow and 72 light yellow. I hope this helps, don't get discouraged by how many pieces you need to make. If you do end up make a pencil, make sure you send a photo. I'd love to see it. Thanks.

I did manage to find a similar filter. To find it open the camera in Instagram, then scroll right to the end of the effects, and press Browse effects. Then search up pencil sketch. I hope this helps. Anymore questions just leave them down below. Thanks

Great suggestion I would love to do more tutorial based videos. But I afraid I am struggling to find enough time. When you mean tutorial do you mean like a voice over explaining what I'm doing in a time-laps? Or a real time no cuts drawing? Which would be quite long, and I'm not sure if people would watch that.
