As a former daily consumer of ABC TV and ABC just in online content I can confirm that this Australian citizen has completely lost trust in the national broadcaster. The service is not promoted to my children and I doubt ever will be. Occasionally I check in on the abc news website 'just in'. I read the headlines and shake my head in dismay. The narrative is obvious from titles alone. The ABC, once a reliable news source is now as unreliable as commercial main stream media organisations. Social media platforms are reliable in so much as the general population of citizens have a voice. We citizens have then the opportunity to view and decide if what we consume is information or Disinformation. It's really quite easy as a mature adult to see the crazy, the manipulative and the narrative.
