Eastern Oregon is so beautifully QUIET. Its a great place to visit and get away from the city life. If youre tired of the woods and ocean, this is where you can come to get some sun.

I went hiking on that multnolma loop trail hike a few years ago and I went in May. I showed up early in the morning and the loop was actually closed so I had to hike in and back out. Halfway through the trail it gets really sketchy and I felt like I was being watched however it was a very busy day so there were many people coming and going which made it feel much safer. But I could see how easy it would be to disappear out there alone. That was my only solo hike I ever did because it felt really unsafe.

COOL BEANS................ I WILL BE WORKING THERE THIS YEAR, MAYBE I WILL SEE A SQUATCHIE, UAP, CASPER AND A GIANT EDIBLE LOBSTER IN THE LAKE ALONG WITH SOME COOL PHANTOM FIRES OUT ON WIZARD ISLAND🎉🎉🎉. - I WORKED AT THE GRAND CANYON AND HAD NUMEROUS GHOST ENCOUNTERS AT THE EL TOVAR HOTEL FROM 10PM TO 12AM. I ALSO HAD EXPERIENCES OUT ON THE SOUTH RIM FROM 12AM - 4AM WHEN I WOULD FILM THE MILKY WAY. .. THERE ARE SPIRITS AT THE HOPI HOUSE ON THE SOUTH RIM ALONG WITH A HOST OF OTHER PLACES ALONG THE RIM CLOSE TO THE VILLAGE. OREGON IS A WELL KNOW PLACE FOR THE TALL HAIRY NEIGHBORS, I WAS TOLD THEY REALLY LIKE APPLES SO I WILL CARRY THEM WITH ME WHEN I HIKE AND FILM AT NIGHT.

I use to talk to Alyssa a couple of times of week while ordering stuff for my business. (I own an ice cream shop and she worked for Sunshine Dairy receiving wholesale orders). I didn't know Alyssa real well but she was a joy to interact with. She could be sarcastic and sassy and I'd often get off the phone laughing at something she'd said. I can't believe she still hasn't been found. I hope her son is doing well. I can't imagine what he's gone through. RIP, Alyssa

I've driven by, I didn't feel anything and am sure it isn't haunted since that doesn't exist.

My daughter used to work at the Clock Tower. Everyone knew it was haunted. And it’s interesting because the guy who owns it also owns a local funeral home.

I went in that building with the red doors in 2019. No signs about cameras or trespassing. Coolest experience ever but does not look worth the risk anymore

There are 3 cemeteries. One near Duncan Fair Grounds close to Tygh Valley. Two Cemeteries at Saw Tooth Road off of Hwy 97 across from the entrance to Wasco, Or. It broke my heart seeing so many babies, young children, teenagers and young adults in their 20's. There was a young mother at the age of 31 and she had twins. all three died in 1910.

Could Thomas McAdams memory issues have led to his disappearance? Perhaps he forgot that he existed and went poof? Come on people, get a grip!
@tedshapiro24963 ай бұрын
Excellent safety tips, however, some of these cases indicate that no safety kit would be complete without an anti poof device to prevent disappearing.

Apparently, Robert Bisell left his tent with his fishing pole, and walked down to the lake, intending to do some fishing. It appears that while he was away from his tent, he encountered something unexpected, which led to his disappearance.

Robert Bissel got injured and died, and then his body went poof? Sorry, that doesn't make any sense.

This math professor was obviously hiking out of his league, but that doesn't explain how he went poof!

These are only a few out of the thousands & the ones that are not public have a place they go. If you all really knew what went on, you would never leave your house 🏡

I'm guessing the really spooky stories are those that are dubious. The way this is being narrated, it makes me feel like I'm listening to a children's story.

Stopped in Crater Lake many years ago. I could not shake an ominous feeling of being watched. I just left. I never forgot that moment of a STRONG FEELING of dread for no apparent reason (was a good lesson in definitely listening to intuition) it was 'something' there. It was only years later that I heard stories of others who had the same experience visiting Crater Lake (and many never went back). That's when I knew I wasn't imaging it. I didn't see or hear anything but I definitely FELT into my bones a message "LEAVE NOW" - you never forget a feeling like that - even 30 years later. We don't know SO much about everything around us. That's why it's so important to go within to find our truth and trust it.

Going through the landscape you totally missed the pictures on the walls. Drawn by the children who attended there. They're beautiful and I'll stand there and look at them and remember being a child and a Mother, and they are completely preserved by McMenamins and I just wished you'd taken a bit more time on the photos on the walls. Enjoy where you are, slow down so others can also enjoy this beautiful place.

I currently work here. One, I Love My job! Two, Father Luke is kind of a shadow, he does look over people <3 When I first started I was waiting for Chef to open the door after I knocked. I heard a BING like an elevator opening. We don't have an elevator obviously. When Chef opened the door I asked what that sound was. " It was the ATM. Someone is saying hello to you" I found out from another cook that it was Father Luke. "He likes to move things and he bings the ATM sometimes to say hello" And a few other people I work with have other stories of occurrences. Even an Uber driver dropping Me off told his story of one time he rented a room there. Children giggling in the room, orbs going around and from the T.V. and he was woken up by someone flicking the bottom of his foot. There is a shadowy figure in the men's change room for the pool... So much. I personally do NOT like the theatre, It just gives Me intense feelers, like dense. Just like there's a presence there that isn't very copacetic. And yes, people do leave in the middle of the night when renting a room. I've only been there four months but I stayed there 20 years ago when St. Francis of Assi let the Bethleham Inn shelter use it for their shelter. I could feel the energy this place has. And to see it here on this page! I have so much more respect for Father Luke and this part of land that I get to work at <3 I always wave at his photos, and he's kinda stopped moving things around Me when I'm working. I think that one shout and jump of fear let him know I'm pretty jumpy. <3

Daming xu wAs a 63 year old simpleton with a striking resemblace to bruce lee who possibly ran into a cougar in french leak peak or fountain mountain if not pleasant pheasant descent. Margerate kohler better known as lights are on nobodys home. Hiking tip number 1 to people like margaret dont leave your house. How much beer did sandy rice bring with him for the hike. Thomas may have been an experienced hiker if you count walkung 2blicks to the bar he may have completed the hike but forgot what his car looked like and just kept walking

We just went to Crater Lake last month and we rode the boat shuttle to Wizard island. Didnt see the Old Man floating anywhere. And didnt felt spooky at all but again I was with a group of people. We even swam a little by the shore. Only spooky things I noticed was that there were so many hungry squirrels around while at the shore trying to steal out snacks! Also found some big crawfish but saw no fish. We had the best time there.

One of the people who saw a sasquatch was either a naturalist or a biologist who worked for the NPS. The brothers who had an encounter were rangers. Another ranger had an encounter and as of the early 2000’s he had posted a notice asking for people who had sasquatch sightings to contact him. Apparently that encounter never left his mind.

Daming went missing not far from a logging job I was working from. I remember thinking how could he not hear our yarder whistle? My log truck had straight stack pipes so it was annoyingly loud as I ran the jake coming off the hill. I wondered how if he was just lost that he wouldn’t hear us and head towards our obvious safety. I assumed something bad happened like a medical issue???? I hope he wasn’t victimized. I’ve often wondered about him and where he is out there.
