As a women this DOES offend me. He is absolutely railing men and I cannot find where he ever truly calls out the sins of women. They all get a pass because they “have low self esteem” or they “aren’t recognized”. The very closest he comes is by saying “women fall short of the glory if God” (in other sermons) which we do, but how about call out our actual sins? Instead of this pandering “oh ladies, don’t be offended, but I’m about to side up with you and talk about how horrible of a job your husbands are doing, and I’m gonna make you feel like you have an excuse to deny him sex if he dares to come to bed all chipper!”

I read the comments before watching the address. Based on the negative remarks, I kept waiting for the moment when he affirms CRT or validates transgenderism or endorses AOC for president. What I heard instead was a focus on the great commission, a call to subordinate political passion to the gospel and a call against slander and disunity. So...what is it precisely that is so upsetting about Greear's remarks? You could ask the same question about other Evangelicals who have not changed doctrinally and who are even right wing in many of their policy views but who a), see political obsession among Christians as problematic or, b), have a middle of the road stance on some political issues or, C), just don't like Donald Trump or, D), wear masks and get vaccinated. In other words, it doesn't take much to get labelled as a heretic these days. Maybe it just really ticks people off to hear someone say openly that right wing politics is not the same as the gospel. Maybe it's as simple and as ugly as that.

Idk, I don’t like to think about it because I have anxiety. Does that mean I’m not really saved? Well, I’ve seen God work in my life and in me, so despite my anxiety, I believe I am saved. Anxiety can make you believe it will never be enough. It was never on us to be enough, though. Jesus already took care of that. That frees us to do real good without worrying about if it’s gonna be good enough for God when we get to heaven.

I live in Franklin, and I have read and studied Bounds. Can it happen again? ABSOLUTELY. On Feb 18 2023 my wife and I drove to Wilmore, Kentucky and attended the #AsburyRevival2023. Does the Holy Spirit come down today, when we need Him most? Most certainly he does, II we ask Him to come into our lives, and if a church asks them to be a part of their worship…to FILL US.

I understand that you dont have to have it all figured out but shouldnt you have SOME financial and career stability before pursuing women I also question pursuing friendship yea it makes sense but dating is a new concept people used to court I know 2 people 1 atheist 1 I believe Hindu when they felt it was time to marry they interviewed women looking for a mate/wife the atheist has been married for years and has I think 4 kids first 'date' he was asking tough question because he was 'dating' with intention

There are so many Christian singles out there who impose things and set boundaries on themselves that can't really be found in the Scripture. Or should I say, a grave misunderstanding of Scripture. It's sad that some fail to enjoy the wise exercise of their Christian liberty because of some seeming biblical restriction you put on yourself. Every serious Christian needs to reconsider and re-evaluate beliefs and practices they caught on earlier on their walk in the faith then compare it with Scripture. Hearing something from another believer or inside the church is not a guarantee that something is Scriptural.

Where is the whole Sermon???

He talks about Jehovah answering prayers and communicating to him, but clearly he doesn't answer every prayer, and he doesn't communicate to everyone. I don't know what makes Chan so special Yahweh sees fit to alleviate his doubts with evidence of his existence. When doubts are not alleviated, the appropriate thing to do is stop being a Christian/theist until such time as God reveals himself like he does to Chan whenever Chan asks.

Great message. I'm sorry but the christian woman are worse in some ways than secular woman. A lot of single woman more and more by the numbers are searching and spreading there eggs in multiple baskets dating wise to hold out for the highest / overall best man. Let me put it simple, woman are shopping for men especially in the church. In this, it is driving men to be narcissistic because we know the first question out of womans mouth is, "what do you do." Now men are driven more than ever to make more money and become a high value man because that's all we're good for. All around people are no longer accepted for who they are both men and woman. That is why more people are single than ever. I am greateful to be 35 and sinlge. I recommited my life to christ 3 years ago and since then I've birthed a business and a second business project on the way. I would love to meet someone soon rather than when I become more wealthy and well off. I like how Ps. Matt talked about growing with his wife when they had nothing, but I've observed woman are not accepting like that anymore. I pray I meet someone I can too grow with and trust in christ.
