You guys crack me up! You definitely want to get some suet hangers out there, especially when it gets colder out the fat helps the birds. A platform feeder with some meal worms can draw jays and robins.

It's purple too but a different purple. Its really well suited to young piggies as they have the calcium balanced with the phosphorus and the levels are lower than a lot of young ones. I got both for my baby piggies and they will be transitioned to just the grain free at 6 months and have another Timothy Hay grain free high quality pellet added in.

I absolutely love these new videos. This is one of my most favourite channels to watch, and I just binged the latest two with my cousin. The main reason I keep coming back is to see your interests, house, style, animals - pretty much just viewing both of your commentary. Sarah's humour is especially infectious and a joy to watch! No matter what way you both take your channel, it's always a delight to see.

Hello! Enjoyed the vid as always! Appreciate your enthusiasm about the doves, I think they're underrated birds for how cute they are! 3:33 was a northern mockingbird. If you have the merlin app installed, be aware that it will ID the species that it 'mocks' as a different species, since the mockingbird is so great at impersonating other bird calls! I'm jealous of your chipmunks! SO cute! I also just wanted to add that you're feeding a lot of native species (as opposed to non-native/introduced critters) for your area which is amazing for the ecosystem as a whole. It will give them a well-needed advantage against introduced species in these harsher months especially. 👍

Awwwww you have a chipmunk!!!🐿😍🥰😍🥰😍🥰 Last night was a big deal for me... I was outside late trimming my mom's horse's hooves and when I was done, I walked around checking on all my outdoor animals when I noticed a teenie tiny Flying Squirrel in my squirrel feeding station!!!! That's the first time I've seen one in there, I about died it was so cute!! I do love the squirrels more than the birds but I think I'm biased because I had to nurse & raise 2 and they still live in my bedroom lol! I'm LOVING your new videos!!! I can't wait for more...!!!🤩

Love the birdies. The dark with white bird is a dark eyed Junco, they're fiesty and fun to watch. The ones that were on the rock look like sparrows, white throat, house, and / or white crown, not absolutely sure. A great addition to your area would be a large hanging platform feeder for to attract larger seed eaters, and suet for woodpeckers and nut hatches. If you add dried meal worms you'll attract the worm eaters and its a good source of protein for the birds. Another great addition would be to grow bittersweet. It's a native vine to the east coast that produces beautiful red berries. We have success with burning bush as well. You can get little heaters for the birdbath, it makes you very popular with wildlife during freezing cold snaps. Don't worry about the hawks. There are birds surrounding the feeding area on watch for predators. They will sound the alarm if danger appears. The only thing I would caution is Starlings. A flock will come in and wipe out all the food. Not much you can do except scare them away, but they will dtop in on occasion. Have fun with it I always have.

So sorry you lost your little piggies and your pup. I went from 6 down to 1. I was going to remain at one until my little Poppy passed, but I now have Esme as well. Poppy was lethargic and not doing well. After a couple of trips to the vet, it boiled down that she was lonely. Enter Esme. Doesn't look like I'm getting out anytime soon. I'm actually happy about it. I do love them and was glad I could give at risk Esme a home. Love the nature idea.

Hi guys! Thanks for the shout out lol! The 'purple finch' is a house finch male. Its tricky to tell them apart sometimes. I like to say purples have more beak per bird ratio lol, but there are other differences too :) Lovely video as always!

Hello! Loved your piggie content and totally here for the nature/bird content too! Some IDs for the birds: 4:47 is house sparrow (female), 5:16 dark-eyed Junko , 6:21 in the middle with black 'beard' house sparrow (male), 7:47 house sparrows (Female, male, female, female), 14:35 white-throated sparrow, 14:58 (winter?) wren. I saw someone say sparrows are song sparrows but judging by beak color and pale unstripped bellies, along with the male house sparrow being so friendly to share alongside, house sparrows are my guess. Along with house sparrows being way more common in US. The last bird is definitely a wren but we don't get wrens often were I am so winter wren is best guess, possibility of it being a Carolina wren though. Others feel free to correct me though! I would recommend downloading a app called "Merlin". It IDs bird calls, so it helps with IDing species! Youll be able to tell them apart in no time with the app! The species list in the app also tells you which species are more commonly seen in your area at certain times of year. Happy birding!
