What a wonderful life she had with all her piggy friends knowing she had a mum that would do anything for her. I hope you don’t blame yourself AT ALL. You did what you thought was best and put her health first and made it a priority and that is ALL that matters. I am sending you so so much love. After some very very deep research (digging through 71 whole comments!) I have found that the majority of the comments on the holes are for forage! It makes sense because small pet select sells forage mixes and herbal blends. Yes you could also put treats in there! I feel like the forage would fall out though...

The holes are for putting treats/the herbal blends in :) It helps with foraging

love the haul sarah! i think the super plush may would be great for senior pigs or even the girls after they get out of surgery for extra comfort! also my pigs loveee the hay healthy snackers from small pet select they’re literally just compressed hay but the pigs think theyre super special and yummy.

I'd assume the holes are for aeration so moisture doesn't build up inside in high humidity. Also you can run a string through it to hang it up instead of laying it on the floor

I did my 1st pig room order. Everything was sold out by 2:04pm, except for some bath mats. The next day bunk beds were back so I ordered 2. Got the bunk beds, I’m waiting on the mats now. I only have puppy pre pads & Guinea dad for years. So these are my 1st mats!!

How to clip the nail of the piggies? we are thinking of getting a guinea pig and uh we have school at the morning so is it ok if we do a spot clean in the noon and give them food in noon. we will fill their hay before going to school

@@GuineaPigJungle yes those are the ones I’m referring to all the other balls should be just fine but the hyacinth ball is a worry, I see products like hyacinth, non-toxic white glue which contains flour , and potato starch and other ingredients that pigs shouldn’t ingest much of in a lot of toys and treats, lots of people make this mistake so I never judge I only educate, much love to you and your pigs ❤️❤️❤️

I’ve started making the Squeek Dreams hideyhuts. Well received. When we need to travel, I put an exothermic mitten warmer in the bottom of the carrier and get the pigs to voluntarily go in a cuddle sac. I have Timothy tunnels into the Guinea Dad pockets they will sleep on the side to stay warm. The tunnels and igloos can be wrapped for warmth. I still don’t have a conclusive answer but a combination of things seems to help.

Keep them your house or if you can't do that have extra hay and Bedden and a heater tha can hang and does not get to hot and were you guinea pigs want hit ot touch it

A heating pad slid underneath their cage or pads right where they like to hang out, has worked wonders for my senior piggies! Or anywhere that works for your setup (just not where they can get to to chew on if they get curious or where it will get wet from pee 😉).

My two friends they are twins they had 5 pigs in a hutch two boys and three girls they died not that long ago because they were doing nothing for them at all my fav was a white girl and the other girls ripped her back open and I was gonna take her to look after her but she passed they is only 2 left 1 boy and 1 girl

Wow, your friends are terrible pig parents and should not have pets. That hutch is likely too small for 5 piggies, which would have caused fighting. Hopefully the boy piggy is neutered as he is in with a female and can get her pregnant.
