It looks like it turned out great. Hopefully you don't live in an area that gets any real snow accumulation. Only my opinion, but I would have made the roof at a little steeper angle. That would be less of a concern in the case of snow load. Good job..!

Brilliant renovation, beautifully executed. I love the pull-out utensil drawer. If this rig was mine, I would replace the "wet" porta-potty with a barrell-hassock style porta-potty lined with plastic bags and filled with HORSE STALL PINE PELLETS. For disposal, just drop the BAG OF DAMP SAWDUST into any trash container. That way, you have no chemicals and no messy liquids to clean up.

How did you get some pitch on the roof. The corner brackets don’t bend. Did you buy angled brackets? And do you have to deal with snow? Regardless, a great video as those standard parts can be had at good prices.

The brackets came angled. We get snow, but usually only around 6 to 8”. I may do a mod or two if it starts to bow or bend under a snow load.

Nice job on the carport lean-to. Can you please tell me what type of self tapping screws you used? I have a ShelterLogic Portable garage and the tarp has failed on it. I want to screw pole barn metal to the frame. I think the frame is probably as thick as the chain link posts that you used.
@CampandCamera22 күн бұрын
@@kenzeigler1382 The place you buy your pole barn metal from will also sell you the screws. The screws you need will come painted to match and have a rubber washer under the head. Just make sure they sell you self-tapping for metal and not the ones for wood.
