So I started barbering about 2 years ago and I started with cordless. After watching so many videos and getting pissed off with how little power cordless have I decided to get corded. I initially was gonna get masters or fast feeds but in the UK they don’t sell parts for these easily and also you need a converter. I got the coded magic clips. Boy oh boy the power is unreal, 10x better than cordless.

Careful if you use blade care. I ruined my Cordless fast feed by dipping the blade into blade care like i do with the original corded fast feed along with the rest of my stuff. The cleaner traveled in all over the motor i was able to take it apart and use alcohol and an air compressor to remove all the residue. It was never the same again 😢.

I love fast feeds I collect them everything from the electromagnetic 12v to The Salon Pros. To the newer 9v carbon fiber edition ones and Some are noisier than others alot of that has to to with the plastic glide behind the cutter but you can glue them to reduce the noise and also lubricate the the stem that holds the pivot. Also you can try the fine tooth cutting blade that comes with a 5 Zero blade for a finer blend.

The andis master is a very complex clipper it has 3 screws to adjust and it needs to be just right! A little boy dropped my purple master so im gonna have to drop a video showing the process of cleaning and adjusting for maximum performance....as for The fast feed in this video is only a few months old so it's out the box fresh and running strong

@drusantana2 ай бұрын
I'm an expert on the master but I will look into your fast feed issue. I'm guessing it's the moving blade... but still can rule out something inside that might need to be adjusted. Don't throw anything away wait to see if me or anyone in the community can come up with some suggestions
@drusantana2 ай бұрын
kzbin.info/www/bejne/j3iTioBjbMtgg9Usi=2_7spOjLVwtFbWxa According to this guy it's one of these issues 1 blades need sharpening 2 tension spring need to be replaced or adjusted (this is my guess) 3 one of the two springs on the motor may have broke.

I’ve actually sent my masters and my fast feeds to him , they were running good for a bit and started acting up again a few cuts in . @drusantana Yeah, the second cutting blade looked like an Osters version of the whaul cutting blade. That's why when you take them apart? The plate that drives the cutting blade is a straight line that presses to the stationary blade. Unlike the whaul, has that elongated diamond shaped holder that holds the blade to the stationary blade.

@@mirchesamardjioski3478 yes you can use either blade on either machine....Once in a wile you'll come across 2 situations. First the blade rattles...take a pliers and squeeze the part that slides on the clipper . Or issue 2 the blade blade sits a little higher than the competitors blade. This is a little more noisy but fully functional. I usually buy whichever blade is cheaper. Never throw the blades away you can get them professionally sharpened. Or do it your self

Hey, I did a review on the fast feeds a few years back. I have seen the ceramic zero gap done before and the one where you actually modified the screwed attachment so that you can adjust the factory blade. I have also seen that one before, it takes a bit of an artist to get that one done. I'm not a professional barber so I haven't tried to modify my fast feeds to zero. I have other clippers that do the zero easy so just use those when I need to zero. But just wanted to say, fast feeds are my go to clippers to give the best blended fades possible. It's forgiving on hair, I love the sound it gives when cutting hair, pivot motor for dry or wet hair, and it can cut forever. Never gets too hot. I'm with you on your statement that they might be the best clipper you can customize for a long and fruitful life using them! I've had mine for years and it's just as wonderful as the day I got them! It's a workhorse of a clipper! Great review, not sure if your channel is new but keep up the videos like this one! You're doing awesome work! I'd go into a bit more technical depth showing the way you set and adjust the zero gap especially the one with the modified original blade. Possibly good for a separate video with a detailed break down. Cheers!

I appreciate the comment brother. I actually had additional footage I didn't use because I felt the video was getting too long.
