I love this song by Michael but I don't think that he ever sing this song in a live performance but the original video has the most professional stars ever in a video by any artist in the history of making music videos.

MJ apparently hated this version , he wanted it in a different light , it was originally called Pyramid Girl. Written and recorded in 1983 well before the changed lyrics. He had this song in his head since the late 70s and when he did come up with it , he was told it was not going to be a success. The stripped down version is so so different , the words are different and his voice is so much clearer and distinct, liberian girl ended up as a filler on the BAD album which is a shame because it is a nice song but so over layered there was no way he could have sung this live.
