I used an Airsled today to move my Miele washer to clean the inlet filters. It was amazing!! I cannot believe how well it worked. 👍🏻👍🏻

Anyone use this to get a radiator up or down a staircase? Perhaps with a rope?
@Airsled14 күн бұрын
When a load sits on a graded surface (especially as steep as stairs), the shift in the center of gravity makes it nearly impossible for our air beams to stay properly inflated. They will compress at one end, forcing all the air to the other end, and therefore not achieve the desired mobility. Simply put, the scenario you describe has too many factors that unfortunately impact the necessary load equilibrium for our products to work as intended. But thanks for your questions which help us explain the nuances of our products even if they reveal certain limitations of our technology.

Hi, looks like a cool product. If you send me some of these I'd make a review video about them!
@ioerror00120 күн бұрын
The video would be more helpful if it showed how to remove washer dryer stack units from a plastic continuous edge pan instead of just an uncommon European model.
@Airsled20 күн бұрын
The pan itself is an American-made product by EL Mustee out of Ohio and not a European model. EL Mustee makes a wide range of kitchen/bath/laundry products sold in the US online and through many brick-and-mortar outlets and has been around since 1932. However, we agree this is far less common drain pan configuration than the continuous plastic edge models which remain a serious challenge for removing laundry equipment. We continue experimenting with new Airsled product designs to solve the continuous edge problem but no luck yet.

@Airsled What about something like a pvc pipe on both sides of the ledge? Just a little taller than the ledge, so it doesn't touch when you pull it over. Then maybe on the outside, place 1 smaller pvc pipe so it's like a step down off the first pipe
@Airsled20 күн бұрын
We appreciate your input and using pvc pipes in different arrangements has been attempted. The core issue with continuous edge models is that the edge is too tall making it impossible to properly slide and position our air beams under the machine. Since the air beams cannot be properly placed under the load, they cannot produce the necessary lifting force. We've tested some new air beam designs that are encouraging but more work is needed.

If the stacked washer/dryer is in a closet on tile but the space outside the closet is carpeted. Will it glide onto it?
@AirsledАй бұрын
Yes. All Hover Blades come with four plastic sheets designed to create a smooth, nonporous track over the carpet. You can see this in another Airsled video showing one of our Appliance Mover models moving laundry equipment out of a closet onto a carpeted hallway. Take a look at the 0:23 mark showing how the panels were taped to form a mat: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aJuqlnt5fKeJebM

Perfectly level ground, NO snow, nice sunshine, and 30 minutes to spare with all of this? In a real-world application, none of these details would be present. It would be in the gravel, snow everywhere, -5 temps, and less than a minute to get it up in there. For a "snowblower", this would be a no-go. But for other items, it could be a benefit...just very, very slow and awkward.

An alldolly is all that is needed these carts are to heavy and a waste of money
@Airsled10 ай бұрын
We agree that an AllDolly is a very capable tool, especially for specific use. Our close interactions with LiftCart customers, including appliance servicers, installers, and home builders/renovators, reveals they are very satisfied with the LiftCart's much broader range of performance and functionality, especially in cases where ovens are in a corner/against a wall or close to a kitchen island where the AllDolly may have limitations. These customers may find your comment to be in the fringe minority.

I use Alldolly for all wall oven projects. But came across the oven with almost no clearance on the right side where it almost touches the wall. I haven't tried my Alldolly yet but thinking it would be much easier to use a Liftcart, which I don't have and that's why I'm here researching alternate options for Alldolly. Harbor freight lift table is too heavy to carry around (over 80 lb), but Liftcart being 51 lb is an attractive though pricey option. I wish they offered discounts. kzbin.info0l_L2ngjLvM?si=XQj-1RUF5JK9_NUN
@Airsled8 ай бұрын
@@harnick77 We did much research on this topic before committing to the development and launch of our LiftCart. At the time, the most common solutions included an AllDolly (non-lowering/lifting version), a 500-lb. rated Harbor-freight type hydraulic cart, and a drill-powered, 300 lb. rated mechanical scissor lift like Southworth Lift-Tool. Each option had pros/cons and we felt there was an opportunity to introduce an Airsled solution that captured many benefits of these options but recognize that our product may not check every box for every person. The feedback from LiftCart customers, especially appliance servicers, has been overwhelmingly positive and we're happy to be in the solution mix as you evaluate options.

Shoot us an email to [email protected] and we'll help answer your questions in detail but in a nutshell, the center, lower drawer panels conceal a cavity for the blower and two air beams are running along the long axis of the load's base. A secondary switch was installed near the countertop to avoid having the reach for the switch on the blower.

Does this work on a rubber gym floor?
@Airsled11 ай бұрын
Yes - our systems work on most commercial, rubber gym flooring surfaces. Some have a pretty rough, anti-slip texture that can reduce Airsled performance due to air leakage. In those cases, you may need to use either our Rough Surface Adapters (RSAs) or something like masonite/hardboard sheets to create a more smooth, solid track.
