Thanks so much for this. How many first-year rooms have an ensuite? And do all rooms have a sink/basin?

Hi - around two-thirds of our first-year rooms are en-suite. Not all rooms have a sink. Incoming students are invited to contact the college before the start of their course if they need an en-suite bathroom and/or access to a kitchen on medical, dietary, religious or disability-related grounds. Students without specific needs can also express a preference for the type of accommodation to which they would like to be allocated.

@@nanashi2146 no he wasn’t unfortunately. He got interviewed by Oriel as well. He’s had offers from Bristol, Bath, Sheffield and York though. Maybe it’s for the best.

@@nanashi2146 thank you for those kind words. He’s computer science all the way! Has been since he was five years old. Taught himself to code when he was nine. Just lives for it. Does cipher and cyber challenges and maths in his spare time for enjoyment. He’ll find his place in life. Of that I’m sure.

@@Chrissyhappy Wow computer science is a very competitive course, he's done well to get offers from those other unis, they're excellent. The course I applied for at Worcester was less competitive I think

Merton College alumnus myself ( 30+ years ) but sadly never walked around Worcester College - which, having watched this beautiful video, I now deeply regret, and, alas, living on the other side of the world as I now do, am unlikely to have that opportunity. I say, well done - splendid little video. My time at Oxford University spanned over three decades - undergrad to retired tutor, but alas, I never actually visited Worcester College, and wish now that I had. Beautiful buildings and stunning gardens - absolutely ! Nice tour, thank you :)
