I would advise you look into the best universities programmes first (you can start with SKY universities and then go down the rank). Most university will have a phd all in english in international studies, so you can start from there, compare universities and courses and then filter your choice! I applied to 3 universities, so I advice you send multiple applications too. For dormitory and classes every uni has different arrangements but you can find the info on their websites

To approach professors, I wrote to the Dean of my department explaining my research interest and asking to recommend me professors. You can also write to profs already after checking if their published work aligns with your research

I am a BK21 participant :) you can look it up on korea university’s website! There are a lot of scholarships available for international students, also depending which country you are from!

If you are on a student visa unfortunately you can only do a part-time job or a job within the university (for example teaching assistant)!

ciao! :) allora, io ho studiato in corea in magistrale e ora come dottoranda quindi non so per la triennale, ma nella mia esperienza come quantità di studio direi che è leggermente maggiore in corea ma è anche meno difficile prendere un voto alto perchè nel voto è spesso calcolata la partecipazione in classe, le presenze e altri assignment (poi ovviamente dipende dalla facoltà e dall'università, io in italia ho fatto economia e non era sempre facile prendere un 30)! in generale direi che il mio livello di sforzo e quantità di studio è rimasto simile quando mi sono trasferita in corea (a parte frequentare tutte le lezioni, qui è essenziale per un voto alto, in italia ne saltavo parecchie) :) se hai altre domande puoi anche scrivermi un dm su instagram 🫶🏻
