After 13 years StarCraft II online is now borderline unplayable. Unless you're literally an e-sports Pro every single match is just a mass air arms race, who gets there first wins. No need to scout and half of the tech tree is redundant when you can just A-move your 25 3--3-3 Carriers or BCs. It's such an old game that Blizzard now no longer care. All they ever did was pointlessly nerf strats that got popular, along came another one, that got nerfed, rinse and repeat until the end of time.

I wish I could play the earlier builds they offered with all the units they had as well

It took 5 years for starcraft 2. Now look at diablo 4. It took 2 years max and looks like reskinned diablo 3

If SC 2 was made today, it would've shipped precisely when the build 3626 was done. Then it would've been patched over the next 5 years, with tons of paid DLC and MTXs in betweeen.
