"His presence assures us of our safety" 🔥🔥 I could not help but jump into this as well, ever noticed how from verses 1 to 4 , king David seems as though he is describing God's nature to a third party( by refering to God in this manner: *HE* lead me, *HE* restores... ,more of telling who God is) however the moment he begins to talk about some of the possible challenges along the way (verse 4) he turns directly to God, closes the circle , (now reffering to God: *YOU* are with me, *YOU* prepare... from HE leads, restores) indicating how perhaps, we each have moments that bring us one-on-one with our Father when telling Him of who He is to us(individually) not based on what everyone else describes him to be... in other words times of calamity have ways of bringing about intimacy with God.

What a profound and powerful revelation. That Jeremiah 29:7 is so poignant. As children of God, we need to come alive to the fact that we are not living in heaven yet. We are still on earth. That is, we live with and amongst fellow people, in different areas, go to different churches, work at different places, etc. The point here is that we always find ourselves in some sort of a community one way or another. Such places of confluence have an inevitable impact on our daily individual lives, be it directly or indirectly. Therefore, the general well-being ( peace, stability, safety, prosperity, etc) of such places translates to greater benefits for us. Indeed, we ought to pray for our environments. The Bible is instructive in this regard. Thank God you are back, Mpho, this season we're indeed getting ANCHORAGED.

And also to add on , what I’ve realized with my oversharing is that I didn’t have specific people to talk to ,so every person that opened up to me I’d then give too much information because there was a lot I was dealing with ,I found sense of comfort in the wrong arms ..then later regret and realize it was not even necessary for me to share ..it’s very important to have people who are trusted & approved by God .
