Played custom 1v2s against a couple of friends who were new. It was honestly some of the most fun I've ever had in the game. Slowly picking characters I actually played, crushing counters, and target switching as they got better.

I will say, you don't have to do a custom match, you can select any game and set them to ai, then open the parameters and turn off matchmaking. There, you can fight AIs with your friends and get rewards and xp at the same time. I do disagree with you on Warden being too difficult. From my experience, my friends usually have trouble with the parrying system more than feinting attacks. And understanding Warden is a lot more easier than the brick wall, who was given pistons to move at light speed.

My friend left for honor when he was rep 1 So I had to train him so he could get back in and stop getting stressed, having patience and overall not be unbeatable I even helped him to select his REAL main, punish his repetitive behavior and explain him what he could do better, give him the mindset that if someone fights in a way that you don't like, to train HOW to overcome it Teach him about all the characters pros and cons And constantly praise his advancement It took a lot but now he enjoys the game again and we train at least an hour a day and then we full on move to dominion or 2v2's But honestly, I just had the advantage that he can be really patient if you talk him the right way, if were to do that with anyone else, they would probably rather kill themselves rather than touch the game Edit: This mf now even plays more than I do Edit 2: I now watched the video and i ended up looking this was pretty much what I did with my friend (except the part of videos, he already knew part of the gameplay so I just shown him some of my duels clips)
